Good video man! I am just now getting started in the business and have been curious on good ways of bidding. Bought a brand new kubota skid paid for it up front. My truck is paid for. Trailer paid for, and I’ve got a mini x also. so I am hoping that I can make some good money off of it all. I’m thinking of trying to start a TH-cam and just see if I can do anything with it. Thanks for the video man! Best of luck to you!
@@gravelboss907 HOw do we make sure that the rented equiment is returned without damage or parts theft. THats a big challenge in this business. PLease provide me your thoughts as I am starting my own and my another friend in youtube quit doing this business due to those challenges mentioned here.
If you was to need to rent equipment for a job how would you quote that? would you just add the cost of the rental onto the top of the quote or what would be the best way to go about that?
Add profit on every aspect of the job including the rental, don’t do what I did and call for a quote and them be like “oh that rents for $460/day” get them to give you a quote w tax and all then add 10-30% profit for you

Thank you so much for the advice

There is no money in it for $85 h, that’s insane. $125 minimum, $$373 or three hour minimum on any job
When you get a call from a potential customer, what all information do you gather? I believe I’ve seen you have a paper with boxes to check etc.
How come everyone has terrible math skills
Is this an episode of trailer park boys?
If I had a dollar for every time you said UH, I wouldn’t need to buy a mini excavator at all.
And yet you still watched the video for his knowledge because you don't have it 😅😅😅
