@@mylesgibbons2377 it was nice having a prescribed pace slower than marathon pace. Not sure that’ll happen too much more often! Ohh, not too far away, how’s the training going?
that's a proper session - how long are you usually out for including warm up/cool down? I'm guilty of rushing warm up to get finished quicker, spend nowhere near the time you do on it. Any tips for warm up or guidance on how long to spend on it?
This was around 2.5 hours total for up, down + session (84 minutes elapsed time on the session alone). I always warm up 45-50 minutes before a race which gives me plenty of time for 15 minutes of jogging, 3 minutes of threshold, 2x30s strides and drills. I think you have to just find a routine that works for you and make it something that you do it every time you’re going to run hard. I only recently added in the 3 minutes of threshold and have found it helps the first mile of the session feel a lot easier. But not everyone needs such an intense warm up!
Great vlog looking good for your marathon good session good luck 🤞 with your build up looking forward to the vlogs 😊
Thanks very much!!

Thank you! Glad you're enjoying the content!
Future Ryan is a wise man =D
😂 to be fair, he has the benefit of already having done the session
Nearly got taken out by that lorry Ryan. Hills could have been painful than you thought. Maybe another spot my man? 😮 solid running!
There is a pavement so it *should* be safe. But yeah, a few people get pretty close. Thank you!
