Being a gold player, picking up on the pin to the Bap when the enemy Zen popped ult at 2:28 was something that I picked up on and try to implement into my future games. Pretty cool that I learned something new.

Two questions:
1. What makes Rein a good pick in King's Row? Is he only a good pick there in high level play?
2. Ignoring "Window of Opportunity" and "Rapid Discord", what are some other achievements that are surprisingly frustrating (without stacking with friends)
For me Simple Geometry is brutal but makes sense cause I play on console, but Gotcha is in such an uncanny valley of obnoxious because magnetic grenade is so easy to get solo picks with since sticking deals 130 damage to a single target (plus the 70 damage body shot near guarantees squishy heroes die), but it sucks when it explodes mid-air so its hard to get a kill on TWO people let alone one with it.

It's fairly predictable if you play enough rein you'll know when it's a good time to shatter, and then be able to spot that from the other side. Shattering through robot/payload is a classic

When Flats charges a meter into a wall or pole, is that just psych stuff for the rest of their team?
It’s in case they are close enough. If they are they get pinned and a nice ez kill or at least a chunk of their health. But if you miss then at least you’re not too far from your team. So the reason for the short pins is that its much lower risk than if you go for a long distance pin. Cuz at their rank(and honestly it’s a good tip for any rank) you are more likely to be punished for being so far away from your team

God Rein pins feel so dogwater in OW2. Like, it's good that we don't have the charge vacuum anymore, but it feels like I miss pins that clearly should have connected.
At that point, I'd just let those two go at it. Just sit back and watch the fireworks.

Its better than stand around and doing nothing! And sometimes you get a kill/damage by coincidence this way. Especially around corners

Is this the anti-one shot man? The one who now spends entire match looking for pinning and one shotting squishies.
There is a noticeable distinction between rein one shotting with a cooldown that sends you across the map or a one shot using baptistes ultimate and widowmaker or sojourn one shotting you with their primary or secondary fire repeatedly from across the map
@@echmcdurn3630 no there's not. One shot is one shot unless there is solid way around it. Anything else is pure rein propaganda.
Also with pins, you can do something against them. You see a rein looking to pin or already charging?
Move out of the way. Sleep dart him. Boop him out of the way with lúcio or pharah. Mei wall him. Doom punch him. Rein charge him. Brig bash him or throw him off. There are so many ways to counter this specific "one shot" ability. And he's also huge and moving in a relatively straight line, making it very easy to hit things like sleep on him during charge.
Widowmaker clicking a button somewhere on saturn and you dropping dead 0.2 seconds later is not comparable.
@@kamyu-5077 "Move out of the way" Did you watch the King's Row pins? This is not some long distance pins, he pinned people from one side of the wall to the other, inside the choke at 1:40 for example.
And I'm sorry hooking movement heavy characters like genji or tracers takes a whole lot more skill than ramming yourself to a wall.

But still, looking at the part you mentioned, that's a whole 4 seconds where he didn't have his shield up and was in full view of the entire enemy team before the pin connected. The person he pinned even was a baptiste as far as i can tell; he could've saved lamp for this incident and dropped it anticipating a pin.
And with "move out of the way" i don't just mean A or D. Moira or reaper fade, rat bomb, widow hook, sojourn slide, sym tp, kiriko tp, Lucio walls, baptiste jump, genji dash, tracer blink,.. literally half the roster has something they could do in those 4 seconds to step away

This level is questionable, Ana nanoboosted genji without checking his ult bar, That really shouldn't happen
you nano genji when he is close to ult and he can get it with a dash or you use nano to keep them alive and they can build ult faster, a top 500 genji dont need nano to get kills with a blade

@@SothX57 The point of that nano was survivability. Notice how the genji dashed up, they were coordinated on that end. Not everything has to be a play, it varies by situation.

As a top console player I just wish console didn't get ruin by xim users like we have meta not like any other rank or platform, its always Dva, hitscans, Mercy, Bab this is the 90% of the games in top500 in EU servers like man its so boring, I don't remember a single time whee we had Rein or the enemie has Rein, like never its always dva and the rest I said then.

Actually this just happened to me today my dps who was smurfing was crying about me not playing dva and egoing me because he was getting diffed by a widow and he was getting diffed while they were playing ball and I was on rein so it’s not my fault but he blamed tank diff how about stay in your rank when people Smurf I think they’re washed up tbh
