I love Tua as a person but I’m finished with him as our QB. He’s missed games due to injury 4 of the 5 years he’s been here. We simply cannot rely on him to be our franchise quarterback with that track record. A franchise quarterback has to be available in December and the playoffs. Tua is 50/50 at best. Regardless of this weekend’s outcome, Grier has to be fired. His rebuild has been an unmitigated disaster. We have an aging top heavy roster with a horrendous offensive line. What he did this past offseason with the OG and DT position is unforgivable. He continues to sign and draft players with significant injury histories and wonders why we have major issues with injuries in December.
Drafting Tua at number 5 overall was a fireable offense. Drafting Waddle ahead of Penei Sewell is proof that this front office has no idea what it requires to construct a winning football team in the NFL. So frustrating.
Unfortunately only those who are in their fifties like myself remember what the true standard was under Don Shula! The younger generations have been stuck in mediocrity and losing so having a winning season is a great accomplishment to them 😳🤯😖
I am 63 watched Dolphins since 72 , Shula faded after 1985 season and will give you that stats to prove it , 1976 - 6 - 8 , 1980 - 8 - 8 , 1986 - 8 - 8 , 1987 - 8 - 7 , 1988 - 6 - 10 , 1989 - 8 - 8 , 1991 - 8 - 8 , 1993 - 9 - 7 , His standard was lost after SB 19 , but really lost after 1974 loss at Oakland , They never won a title after that loss and abandoned their ground game from 1978 onward .
What ppl fail to realize that last time they had a good oline no great oline was the 70 point game. Give tua that he can Super Bowl. Ppl forgot that’s how Tom Brady won.

Jets, giants, New Orleans, Seattle, raiders, etc… plenty of teams that would love to have a top 10 qb. You guys need to take a step back and look at this without bias. Tua is NOT the problem. Every starting qb has injury issues. Year 5 of 15. If he had 10 more years of health, we will not even think about it. Rodger’s has how many super bowls in a hundred years in league? Brees? He’ll, Marino? It’s not always about the best qb wins
Say it like it is Tua is the biggest mistake in Miami dolphins history Broken hip , broken ankles No arm strength, lack of pocket awareness , Grier & Garfinkle must have Pictures of Ross naked Brian Flores deserves an apology
I guess people are tired of saying we need a better ol so instead they want to blame Tua. We had the same problem with Ryan tannahill. We had a great rg and let him go because we didn't want to pay him.
The Dolphins aren't beating the Jets without Tua. They struggled with him the last match at Miami against Rodgers. The OL sucks and the Jets would love to eliminate the Dolphins regardless the Chiefs-Broncos match. So this is it. The rest is just wishful thinking.
It's so hopeless and depressing to be a fan of the Dolphins. If Ross decides to run it back with the current gm/coach combo for next season, as fans, we already know there's no chance, no hope. None.
I am not sorry because you are right AP.💯 Tua is 4th or 5th⚖🧮👨⚖ Did someone say "Baker Mayfield Money"💵💰 Meanwhile, we cash advanced the credit card to overpay Tua.💳
I will start by saying I am a fin fan for life since 82. That said most fin fans would know wouldn’t know what elite QB play is. Brady had teams, players and coach. Mahomes watch Brady leave and then took the reins with team, players and coach. Mia since Tua has come in has a had players, not a team or coach of the level that Mahomes or Brady had. I am realistic I felt Tua needed to retire last year but I’m ok with him being the dolphins QB. This team is not far as a team goes. Need better trench play and they need more leaders. Tyreek is not a leader he is fickle and drops too many big game passes. I am not a Tuaneer I am just a fan that understands how difficult it is to find a QB of his caliber
Hey Alain. I know you were referring to Big O earlier. He’s delusional. He thinks Tua is better than Burrow, Herbert, Love and Hurts. He claims all those other QBs look better only because they have better teams around them. I’m glad you’re actually objective.
The degree to which true pass pro (PBWR) is neglected in its importance both to QB and (especially) team success is astounding. Here are the top 10 teams right now for PBWR: 1. Denver 2. Minnesota 3. Baltimore 4. Philly 5. Buffalo 6. KC 7. Tampa Bay 8. Washington 9. Green Bay 10. L.A. (Chargers) What do all those teams have in common? Can't quite put my finger on it. Oh yeah, 9 of the 10 have already clinched playoff spots before the final week of the season. For the bottom 10? The only team getting in is Houston unless Miami hits an inside straight (because OF COURSE we're in the bottom 10 for PBWR *yet again*). "Everything has to be perfect for Tua." Here is the PBWR Tua has enjoyed in his career by year: #24, #32(!), #27, #32(!), and #23 (which could actually drop after Sunday given that we're tied with teams #24-#26 ignoring the decimal). What GAME (let alone season) has "everything been perfect" for him playing behind the lines we field year after year? If he had AVERAGE (not perfect) pass pro this year and an AVERAGE (not perfect) ability to punish teams with inside runs to run them out of cover 2 with high leverage in the box, our offense likely would've looked significantly better, no? KC was #1 last year in PBWR, #1 the year before that, #2 the year before that, and this year have plummeted all the way to #6. Bills have been #6, #4, #8, #4 the last four years. Ravens have been #6, #10, #8, #2. Eagles have been #4, #12, #3, #11 (#4 again this year). Last year Green Bay was #2 and Love looked amazing. Houston was top 10 and Stroud looked amazing (this year Houston has poor pass pro - though still ranked higher than Tua has AVERAGED IN HIS CAREER - and now it's "poor Stroud is being let down by his protection"). Tua's health might derail his career. Fair enough. But whether it's Tua or the next guy...PLEASE...evaluate the results of the Miami QB in light of his protection given this data. Also, the whole "well PFF or ESPN [who, as an aside, both meticulously go play by play, player by player to make their rankings and evaluations] might say the O line is terrible, but I don't put much stock in their ratings" gets really old when all that's offered as a substitute is the sportswriter "eye test."
I hope the home stadium remains empty until we see significant change from top to bottom. Anyone who pays to support this franchise as it's currently constructed is part of the problem.
Agree with Dave… start fast, Jets will crumble. But… if it’s the reverse.. fast Jets start, with Denver up, shouldn’t Mc D pull his starters.. at least Achane, Brooks, Calais, Seiler, Hill, Waddle, Jonnu, etc.
@@dondajulah4168You do realize some people go to games to see players not necessarily the team overall correct? Also anyone able to play should play. The moment they introduced gambling into the sport it should automatically be a requirement and this needs to be regulated
So ask yourself the question… would McD with a TJStroud produce better results? He still call some bad plays, screw up time management, abandon the run game at the first sign of panic. There are 3 QBs in the draft as good as Stroud
Grier agreed to all these extensions of old guys and guys that get hurt all the time. That man has to be removed. Not supporting this team until changes.
We need a gm that understands the importance of an ol, ours obviously does not. We could have had Dalton Risner when he is balling out in Minnesota. We are trying to get by with a makeshift cheap ol. Its never going to work until we have an adequate ol. Hopefully terron armstread can be healthy if we make it to the playoffs. We should draft an ot and og with our first two picks.
Tua guarantees playing in the playoffs!!! But sadly the Cheats, I mean the Chiefs have other plans. I think Andy Reid has the whole team on inactive status!!! Just get a winning season Snoop!!! 😎
In a sport filled with gambling how can you allow a team to sit starters who are physically able to play? Seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen for fixing games and matchups
Whos laughing at us?? The jets...? The browns?? The jags??? The bears??? Should I continue??? You mustve not watched The fins during ryan tannehill or culpepper or chat henne era. I'll take this any day
Not laughing stock he stays healthy and we are playoff bound not good enough to be elite but better than most .his inability to stay on the field it’s unfortunate
Buffalo is always taking fans you sound like the type they like . Willing to jump through flaming tables head first go there don't really need fans that cry all the time and regurgitate the same BS over and over how we need another QB and fire the entire coaching staff and GM . Because changing staff every 3 years works great at building a team goodbye good riddance. May the force be with you. Bye Felicia 👋
As much as I love Chop Robinson , I think that it would have been better to have drafted a quarterback . I thought that the Dolphins were going to trade up in the draft and snatch " Bo Nix " . When Nix went to Denver , I knew the Dolphins would take a defensive player in the draft . And as I mentioned , I love Chop Robinson but the Dolphins should have taken a quarterback .
Sitting starters to keep them healthy or give them a break is complete BS . Something needs to be done. Fans pay to see players not the unknowns. Also it is just unsportsmanlike . Compete period . Resting in any sport is BS, they making millions and in the NFL they only work for 4 months and it's weekly. I totally get why the old players get annoyed with the way things changed. Players making a huge bag and they want a break . They earned the number 1 seed rhats the break, they want extra tho 😂😂😂😂💀💀🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️.
To me it comes down to coaching and personnel not just tua I think tua can get the job done ...McDaniels and Greer is to blame in my opinion ..no line can't run ..can't block
Grier has ignored the offensive line the in the draft and now they Dolphins are going to have to pay to bring in expensive free agent guards with a tight budget. Stop paying wide receivers!
The Giants win does make sense if dieon said he want going to allow his son to go to the Giants. Neither Sanders nor Ward are typical of the QBs that the Giants like anyways. Just imagine how the Giants would look being forced to trade the #1 pick when the world knows they need a QB.
Wouldn't take any kid who thinks they get to chose based off their father or college production. Shows lack of character humility appreciation and overall and most importantly competitiveness
Alian continues to quietly bash Tua claiming Hill was carrying the team. Hill and Waddle did squat without Tua after their big paydays. Running game is not Tuas fault. The bad special teams coach is not Tuas fault. New defensive coach 3 years in a row. Not Tua fault. This team this year even without Tua with their investment money on their offense they should have minimum 2 more wins under their belt. My point you keep doubling down this season on Tua meanwhile missing the bigger picture.
🙄 He had a top 5 run game. Top 10 defense. 2 receivers combining for 3k yards and a 3 game lead in the division with 5 to play. 4 of them at home. Blew it and got mopped in the wild card rd. Tua's career playoff record. 0-1 in 5 years with no division titles. All while he was on his rookie deal. Now, his huge contract is about to kick in. Good luck getting that oline and filling all the other holes on the roster if they couldn't do it when he was cheap
@@Ballaholic17Defense blew it clown. Literally 0 pass rushers and the secondary running on fumes from fumes . Literally signing borderline retired players just to be able to field experience at the position . . But yeah Tua blew it 😭😭💀💀🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
You guys are so worried about is tua availability, tua unavailability is the best thing for the team everyone forgets how poorly he's played and key circumstances. I would rather see him not play then play anyone else is better
You could run the tush push with Saquon Barkley and it would be just the same, if not more effective. Barkley would just need to spend time working with the center on taking snaps under center, so he has comfort in doing it. Other than that, it would be exactly the same, if not better, than Jalen running that play. And it’s not even close when it comes to passing ability between Tua and Jalen, still today. Jalen is just now starting to catch up with where Tua was as a true freshman in college as a passer.
If a team isn’t allowed to intentionally lose games for draft positioning then why is it okay to lose to preserve players for the playoffs? I hope all the Chiefs starters are rusty as hell and lose their playoff game.
If the Fins don’t change the FO, anything that happens in 2025 is a crapshoot. At that point, don’t draft a QB. If. New GM is in place, the GM should have every right to draft a QB first round if he has one he loves. I’m biased towards Cam Ward. Why… because media points out some so called flaws exactly the same as those ascribed to Mahomes. Ward’s arm is up there with Matt Stafford’s as to strength. Better than Stroud’s. He is also durable.

What he did this past offseason with the OG and DT position is unforgivable. He continues to sign and draft players with significant injury histories and wonders why we have major issues with injuries in December.
Poup could you tell us what’s going on with Erik ezukama ??
Drafting Tua at number 5 overall was a fireable offense. Drafting Waddle ahead of Penei Sewell is proof that this front office has no idea what it requires to construct a winning football team in the NFL. So frustrating.
When will McDaniels/Greer realize Tua is unable to take contact and stay healthy
but NFL Football is a contact sport

Achane is one of the best players this year. Draft a top QB in the Draft.
What ppl fail to realize that last time they had a good oline no great oline was the 70 point game. Give tua that he can Super Bowl. Ppl forgot that’s how Tom Brady won.
lol give Tua the an Oline and all the best WR also. Delusional fan alert 👆🏽
@ lol just not a hater
@@WorldCruz-e3x he’s good Quarterback, but he can’t get you to the finish line, we want him to have an top five O-line and not scramble lol, it doesn’t work like that buddy
@ did Tom Brady scramble like that did drew Bree’s scramble like that? No. They relied on the team. Borrow can do all that shit and he bout to miss the playoffs cuz of his team. Tua no diff
@ can compare burrow, Tom, and brees to Tua. The comparison makes no sense since Tua is limited.
We really can't say anything about Skyler Thompson because he didn't have enough time for evaluation before his injury.
I think with a good ol Tua could take us to the Superbowl me
How could they not see he was damaged goods coming out of college? Incredible!
Grier sux
Brian flores did...
But like Tannehill; neither he or Tua should've been signed back.
Tua and McDaniel were agregusis extension. Both unnecessary.
Say it like it is
Tua is the biggest mistake in Miami dolphins history
Broken hip , broken ankles
No arm strength, lack of pocket awareness ,
Grier & Garfinkle must have
Pictures of Ross naked
Brian Flores deserves an apology
Get new GM do what Denver did eat dead money, or handcuffed till 2027😢 Draft a QB in rd 1 or 2 either way🤷♂️ Sign a bridge QB
None.
I am not sorry because you are right AP.💯
Tua is 4th or 5th⚖🧮👨⚖
Did someone say "Baker Mayfield Money"💵💰
Meanwhile, we cash advanced the credit card to overpay Tua.💳
Say is Poop! It was the Big O show where you weren't allowed to have your opinion 😅.
Groudhog's Day every year... 😢
Here are the top 10 teams right now for PBWR:
1. Denver
2. Minnesota
3. Baltimore
4. Philly
5. Buffalo
6. KC
7. Tampa Bay
8. Washington
9. Green Bay
10. L.A. (Chargers)
What do all those teams have in common?
Also, the whole "well PFF or ESPN [who, as an aside, both meticulously go play by play, player by player to make their rankings and evaluations] might say the O line is terrible, but I don't put much stock in their ratings" gets really old when all that's offered as a substitute is the sportswriter "eye test."
great post, very compelling
I hope the home stadium remains empty until we see significant change from top to bottom. Anyone who pays to support this franchise as it's currently constructed is part of the problem.
It's fine to have speed at WR, TE, RB.. but you need an offensive line who can bully and push people around
Snoop competition for #1 QB, Tua is injury prone full stop. Sign Snoop, draft a QB or sign free agent. Time to move away from Tua.
McDaniel need to be fired he’s too invested into this Quaterback, he’s not a good a talent evaluator! He a liberal fool of a coach
The guy that came into a roster and produced 2 winning seasons and playoff appearance, potentially doing it 3 consecutive seasons?
Imagine paying $300-400 for a ticket and they go sit everyone. This is what is wrong with the NBA.
I paid 29$each for tickets last time I went to a heat game tho lol
Phins are like 200 each and they continually disappoint/fristrate/fold/get injured.
Yeah, I'm sure Broncos fans are livid that KC is sitting players making it easier for the home team to make the playoffs. Get a grip dude.
@@dondajulah4168 is sundays game at Denver?
@@DaveBaker-d2eThat's why I watch on TV.
@@dondajulah4168You do realize some people go to games to see players not necessarily the team overall correct? Also anyone able to play should play. The moment they introduced gambling into the sport it should automatically be a requirement and this needs to be regulated
Have to draft a big back… Skatterbo, Damien Williams.
I hope season ticket holders agree with you. Until they see those numbers decline, they'll be content.
Yes, totally the Chiefs fault if we miss the playoffs. Pay no attention to our barely over .500 record.
Yeah!! Another 9-8 winning season!! Woo-hoo. Go Lolphins
In a sport filled with gambling how can you allow a team to sit starters who are physically able to play? Seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen for fixing games and matchups
Tua is a huge bust and one of the biggest reasons we suck and are a laughing stock of the league.
To be fair, he has no offensive line. He’s not a bust yet, but he’s one more dumb decision from being out of the league.
He also looks the part with that 🤡 hair
Good to see the dynamic duo back for the final week of the regular season!
There is no expensive free agent guards and they don't have any cap space to pay for them if there are 2 guard available
That's why the axe should fall on Chris Grier. They should have let the 5th year option play out for Tua. Smh
This franchise no longer cares about being the best, they care about being Average.
If Tua was in Philly would definitely be better than Jalen hurts tush push or not
You could run the tush push with Saquon Barkley and it would be just the same, if not more effective.

I hate to say it; but Tua
Because of the hip; which he should've been drafted.
Tannehill contract was 97 mil
Don't remember rge gurantees.
If a team isn’t allowed to intentionally lose games for draft positioning then why is it okay to lose to preserve players for the playoffs? I hope all the Chiefs starters are rusty as hell and lose their playoff game.
Tua isn’t RT. RT never sniffed the playoffs. The one year the Dolphins did RT didn’t play.
If is the middle word in life. With the Dolphins it's always if!
But they do owe us. No allegiance anymore lol😅
Why are people worried about Tua, we should be worried about our ol not Tua, the cheap dolphins don't want to pay for a good ol.
