The Dolphins released a statement during my recording that both Mike McDaniel and Chris Grier would be back in 2025 with careful consideration to their failures. We'll touch on that on the next show.
Kyle you do a great job regardless of how lousy this team is. You are a bright spot when it comes to Miami Dolphins Football. We appreciate all your time and insight brother!
As a chiefs fan i say just get what you can for Hill. Addition by subtraction. He is a great talent but far from a leader. Hill has always been about Hill. There is life after him trust me. You guys have talent. good luck next year.
Us Bills fans could see this coming from the moment Hill signed with the Dolphins. Watching his demise has been hilarious, especially seeing how angry he gets every time the Bills shut him down for the win for twice a season. We will miss beating him twice a season, but also enjoy him becoming the next Odell Beckham Jr, grabbing lots of attention and drama without having the skill or personality needed to back it up and make an impact. Hell, the Bills lost Diggs, who isn’t anywhere near as toxic as Hill, and we improved significantly, like a massive weight was lifted off of the entire Bills organization. Dolphins will probably be better off performance wise without Hill to be perfectly honest, let alone personality wise.
@@quinnjackson9252Bills should worry more about actually advancing in the playoffs rather than how Tyreek Hill reacts to their games. If Josh Allen is so great, then maybe he should get the Bills into a Super Bowl for the first time in 32 years.
Piss poor way for Reek to end his days in Miami, quitting in the first quarter, unless he was really banging hurt though I certainly did not see him that way today. Furthermore, Terron Armstead could have tapped out given his condition. He was riding the pain something fierce out there. But I will say that this ending from Tyreek is in sharp contrast to the way he played and the effort he put into the team. I wouldn't undo the trade for him for a second. Hopefully we should get a 2 and a 5 for him. Trade him to the NFC though!
Tua has the same amount of playoff appearances as Skylar Thompson. Think about that. Going into his 6th season as the Miami Dolphins starting QB Tua will have played the same amount of playoff games as the Dolphins back up's. Let that sink in.
Yeah, Bills fans were quite happy when Tua got paid big. Not because he’s bad, but because he’s just good enough to snag a big contract, without being talented and durable and consistent and smart enough to ever make it worth it. He’s always injured and just isn’t a top 10 QB outside of absolutely perfect conditions. Seeing the Hill drama is laughable, we love watching him throw hissy fits like a narcissistic baby that he is, but the Dolphins will probably improve without him.
@mattmcnamee5753 I will give you that. But point is fan base is obsessed with Herbert. But our top WR wants out DC may get HC job and roster has full of holes. You can get rid of Tua tomorrow but team is a hot mess.
@@danielmeehan1756 Reminder that Herbert has also broken multiple NFL passing records including one this year. He's much more durable and if you saw how many games the Chargers lost after scoring 30+ points you would realize that this "Herbert has a losing record" nonsense is far from his fault. Herbert is 100 times more valuable than Tua in every spectrum at the QB position and he's broken passing records with far less weapons and too many conservatively soft coaches to work with in his career. Dolphins fans need to stop with the comparisons of Tua and Herbert as if Herbert isn't much better because Tua isn't even in Herbert's league when it comes to passing stats and long term value as a franchise QB for his team.
I have been a fan since 93...I finally feel defeated and apathetic. Normally an ending season loss to be knocked out of the season would depress me. Maybe I'm just getting older, but I've moved on faster than ever...longest playoff drought in the league, and I'm sure it will extend into 2030. Depressing.
Fan since '81 so we share a lot of common pain to be sure! What is really frustrating is how close we are to doing something relevant like winning a division title and a playoff game, yet we just can't get there! I would have preferred to see McD get the boot. I am NOT looking forward to more of his inept offense when it comes to beating 500+ record teams. Now I think that could change if he and Grier (as both are presumably coming back according to Kyle's pin post) get our OL into a punishing dominant unit that (figuratively) taunts defenses for showing up to games! We had this going to start 2023 then the trap door fell open when we lost our entire starting interior just before the second half. Both Grier and McD MUST make OL the #1 team priority and do it RIGHT this year in order to justify their continued employment with the team. I hope to God that Ross has this revelation. I don't see Ross as a meddling type of owner like the hapless Woody Johnson of the Jets or as the late Al Davis was but he needs to drive this home to these two clowns!
Welcome to the party. I felt defeated and apathetic last December. Last season took something away from me. This year, when Tua went down again, I merely shrugged and laughed. Because, of course! I knew then that we weren't even going to be able to pretend this year. There are no championships to be won with McDaniel and Tua. Ross doesn't appear to care at all. And Grier has no idea what to do anymore with this mess. Trying to build around a limited QB has resulted in embarrassment.
Kyle, trust me….we DO wish u were the coach of this team. Thank you for sharing you insight all season. It always made so much sense with pinpoint accuracy. You know ur football more than anyone I have ever listened to. Your brain in McDaniel would’ve made Miami such a better team. It’s a shame they don’t have the same intelligence like you do. Not even joking.
Yeah, Bills fans kinda realized this a couple of years ago. McDaniel and Tua can do just enough to make people think they’re good and worth big contracts and lots of hype, but will never live up to it. McDaniel and Tua always make weird decisions and mistakes against good teams and big moments, especially the Bills since the Bills have that divisional rival knowledge of all of the weirdness and how to exploit it. Usually that just involves disguised coverages and focusing on covering Hill so he gets angry and causes the rest of the offense to falter, so who knows, without him the Dolphins might actually get better. McDaniel will hang around next year but probably get fired soon, and unfortunately, injuries and a talent deficiency will probably prevent Tua from being what Dolphins fans hoped. Bills fans know all about that, we’re just lucky to have our coach and QB and roster in a perfect position talent and personality wise. Then again, everyone counted us out this season and we got way better without Diggs, so maybe the Dolphins will have a surprised surge. Regardless, good luck in the off season and see you guys next season
Ross is a life long Jets fan. He's a New Yorker. He originally wanted to buy the jets but was unable. Now us Dolphin fans are stuck until this idiot sells the team.
Another observation in all of this, thank you Mr Crabbs for keeping it even keeled and honest in his coverage of the team. It's at end of seasons like this that I remind myself this is only a game and there's nothing at stake for us Fans other than bragging rights. I know many fans invest far too much emotion into a team (in every sport) and get really angry or sad at results, but really this is supposed to be entertainment first and foremost and it's fantastic coverage from Locked On Dolphins which helps me detach myself a bit from the emotional rollercoaster and focus on the nuts and bolts for how to build and coach a team. My background is in American Football in Scotland so having the focus on the process and planning more than the nonsense of whatever the players get up to is most welcome. Keep up the good work! I'll be listening every day as usual.
As a Bills fan, trade Hill if you can. The Bills did it with Diggs and took a $30 mil cap hit in the process...it ended up being addition by subtraction. The vibes, starting back in training cap, have been amazing. Diggs was a great player for the Bills for 4 years but with all the drama, it was time for him to move on.
I’ve been saying the same thing. I laughed out loud seeing Hill’s hissy fit, nothing personal to the Dolphins, but very personal to Hill. He’s a toxic narcissist, you’ll be better off without him. I don’t think Tua and McDaniel are as good as they are touted to be, but who knows, everything said the same thing about the Bills and we got wayyy better without Diggs, and he wasn’t anywhere near as toxic as Hill.
Thank you for your reasonable and emotional observations of what we all endured. We can only hope that if this is the final ride for our GM and Coach that they do with thoughtful corrections and not reckless abandon.
You think this year was bad? Tua, Waddle, and Ramsey's contracts haven't even kicked in yet. The last thing this organization needs is to have older, overpaid, and injury prone players taking up most of our salary cap. Now, they have to hit on all of their draft picks to be competitive the next 2 years.
@@Ballaholic17 While that is correct, those contracts also have outs coming up as well to avoid the cap hell. HOWEVER, I have zero confidence the Dolphins management knows what they are doing and will keep them all around only screwing us further for the next few years minimum lol.
Don't worry though. MR. MAGOO values "stability" and the "Great" working relationship between Mikey & Chrissy..... Please MR. MAGOO, have you ever heard the term INSANITY?? If you go to Insanity in the Dictionary, there is a picture of The Miami Dolphins there!!!
What’s more painful Dolphins fans, the 41 years since bein in a Super Bowl or the 52 years since winning one? Current Dolphin fans never even saw Griese, Csonka, Morris, Warfield, … even play.
I think McD is more of the problem than Grier. McD should have been screaming to Grier to get better starting guards than Jones and Eichenberg! We saw how pathetic these two were last year as starters during the second half of the year. We lost Hunt and Williams in FA this offseason and instead they chose to start those two again?? I share your frustration about Grier's philosophy that much but I think he still has hit far better than he has missed. So basically whoever's here (and it looks like its the same combo) MUST get our OL back to the the dominant punishing calibre that we had to start 2023. That is more important than replacing Tyreek Hill (assuming that happens), getting more edge help, and replacing a dud safety group... etc. If whoever fails to get this line together and STILL keeps their job(s) then we deserve to lose!
Man tell me about it, very bad timing. Knowing we been hearing the noise about him being on the hot seat. It’s almost like they already had the conversation about him coming back anyways. I’m starting to think Ross just likes being relevant & his team being talked about. I don’t think Super Bowl really on his mind, he’s up there in age.
This team is beyond hopeless. So much has to be addressed and the organization is nowhere near even considering doing that. Hill, Armstead, Tagovailoa, McDaniel, Waddle, Grier, ... Soooo many pieces that show no promise. I've never felt totally done with the Dolphins like I do right now. (Fan since early 70's, born in '65) The road ahead is bleak, and showing not even a glimmer of hope on the horizon.
I got to see the 80's & 90's teams with Shula and Marino. Very fond memories going back to the Orange Bowl. Even in 1994, I have unforgetable memories of the opening game against Bledsoe and the Patriots. Marino and Irving Fryar had a heck of a mud soaked game! Imagine the younger fans who never experienced the Miami Dolphins as a consistent presence in the playoffs. It's depressing, I keep a distance from the team now for the sake of my heart health.
Kyle, you are one of the best at breaking down team game plans. Can you make a video explaining WHY, as a strategy, McDaniel had to rely on short screens and end around runs? What was he trying to set up, if anything? Was it purely a personal issue, or was there some strategy behind it. Even when teams were keyed on the outside plays.
I very much appreciate what you do here Kyle. You are my go to dolphins podcast through the good and the bad. Appreciate you man, keep doing an amazing job! Glad to have you hear to really break everything down for us all🙌
Regrettably ownership has its privileges. One of those is complete impunity regarding the calibre of team operations. I think Ross is a good person and he does put football ahead of money, which is never a guaranteed attitude from filthy rich owners. I don't think he is making the right hiring decisions for HC's and (prior to Grier) for GM / team operational heads. If owners were accountable to someone, say like the fans voting for all star players, there would be more owners coming and going than head coaches! Ross would certainly have been long gone by now. Yet we have come so close with this FO lineup of Ross / Grier and McD, to doing something relevant. My hope is that Ross will take the unusual step (for him) to issue one HUGE ultimatum to whoever the GM / Coach are: Make the starting OL into a punishing, dominant OL like it was to start 2023. This MUST be the first priority before everything else! If they can't or won't do that then page Jake Bailey to come in and 4th down them in a hurry!
@@UlisesS-t4l That bites when they do that! I have had numerous benign posts / replies that never show up meanwhile someone else is comparing some subject figure to used toilet paper! They don't know what they are doing!
Hey Mr Crabbs, here from Locked on Bills! Sorry your season ended on a low, Bills fans were all rooting for the Dolphins to stop Rodgers from getting his 500th TD pass and win the game (out of the kindness of our hearts, definitely not just because we didn’t want to play the Bengals lol!). Double dose of toxic sludge with Hill throwing his little hissy fit was hilarious for us, and Bills fans are going to miss shutting him down and beating him twice a season, but to be honest I could see Hill doing this from the moment I heard he was joining up with the Dolphins. He’s the most toxic player in the league right now, and the Dolphins will honestly be better without him. He’s a washed up player, nobody knows it yet, he’s way too expensive and nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. He’ll go somewhere else and basically become the next Odell Beckham Jr, demanding way too much hype despite not having the talent or personality to back it up. Unfortunately, I don’t even think that the worst thing for the Dolphins right now is the Hill drama. Tua is paid wayyy more than he’s worth, and paying him was probably the best thing for the Bills long term, as while he’s good, he’s not going to do it all himself, especially given how injury prone he is. Same thing for Mike McDanials, he will linger for a while but will end up getting fired. I’m not trying to gloat or anything, I genuinely feel awful for how your season ended. I do find the demise of Hill quite hilarious, as I can’t stand him, but if it is any reassurance I think that the Dolphins will be better off without him going forward. The Bills got significantly better after “losing” Diggs, and Diggs isn’t anywhere near as toxic as Hill. Who knows, you could make a surprise run next year! Anyway, good luck this post season, and see you guys next season! Thanks for a good analysis, and sorry for your disappointing season end.
Great vids this year Kyle. Really deep insight into a lot of issues for the team this year. Indeed, not even Frank Sinatra could have sung the line "It was a very good year" in regards to this team were he still around! Week 2 really sunk it for me. A horribly called game at home against our division nemesis Buffalo team capped off with Tua wedging his head into Damar Hamlin's upper thigh and hip before snapping hard into the ground for another serious concussion and four or five games down the phish bowl. I would have preferred McD get the boot. I am NOT looking forward to another year of dink and dunk Shanahan style offense and more blowout losses to 500+ record teams. I am furious with both McD and Grier for their abandonment of the OL, thinking that speed would conquer two dysfunctional turnstile guards in Jones and Eichenberg. Despite that I would prefer to see Grier back as long as he gets this line back into shape with the calibre it was to start 2023. I think Grier hits big far more than he whiffs big. Although had Ross found some other inspiration for another GM, I would not have been disappointed. The decision to go INTO the season with those two starting guards is grounds for both of them to be fired!
I cant wait to see Tua cook without Hill. Tua is going to be on fire, literally as he burns down the kitchen the Dolphins organization to the ground. Next season is going to be hot ;)
5th year of the great rebuild after having NINE 1st and 2nd round picks in aback to back loaded drafts and a clean cap. Drafts that Grier messed up AND coming off back to back years with the easiest schedule in the league. AND we are a fringe WC team Next year we have a much harder schedule than we have had in years.....cant wait
Bills fans felt the same way, then we got rid of Diggs and it’s all sunshine and rainbows. Maybe this will be good for the Dolphins long term. Sorry about the lousy finish, we at least wanted you to beat Rodgers.
As for Tyreek Hill, if it wasn’t for ball he’d be a cast member on First 48 Pork n Beans edition. My question is who’s the bigger “MARK”? Stephen Ross or Jerry Jones.
Its not easy by any means but some coaches can call plays and manage the situational aspect game at the same time. Mike McDaniel has shown himself to not be among them. Maybe handing playcalling duties off to someone else is the solution. I get the sense that he is more adept at designing offense than executing it on gameday.
Tyreek didn't check out at the end of the season, he never checked in this season. An off-season filled with vet rest for Tyreek and QB1 hold outs didn't help the much needed chemistry between QB and receiver. And no you couldn't count on rolling out last year's game plan, the change in enforcing the pre-snap motion towards line of scrimmage killed Tyreek's separation. Let's be honest, Tyreek could have made a difference by adapting his game and he didn't. Sad.
When you said most unenjoyable team to follow, I felt that. This was literally the first year since 1993 I could care less about watching. Last year a little but this year after week two I think I watched two games. Such a pathetic rerun of a never ending crap product. It's exhausting and a waste of energy, and now they bring back the same recipe moving forward next year, expecting progress. Pure insanity the jets and pats will be in the mix before this incompetent franchise smh I probably won't follow much next year either and definitely not going to any games or buying merchandise
1000 thumbs up. Man, unfortunately us older fans realized this same thing 25 years ago. They had me for like a minute last season. The Phins have been a stale product not worth watching for 25 years. We have been a non factor in the league since 2001. I remember the Phins were in the conversation every year...the last 25 years have sucked.
After seeing the post from Ross stating we are running this back with Grier and McDaniel now puts me convinced Ross is so out of this. Expect 6-11 or 6-12 team depending if 18 games next year to be back to the really bad years of the Dolphins. I fully expect 2026 will be another rebuild effort by Grier as he will never be removed. Bad 30+ years being a Dolphin but the last 24 has been really disheartening.
Ross is not out of anything....he is a shrewd business man....these 2 🤡 are just his yes men....he runs the show and will do the same next year.....pump us up with hope...get 2-2 over paid...over the hill free agents to fuel the hopium....and us asswipes will go buy overpriced tickets and merch....Ross is dumb...???...how many dumb billionaires do you know...??
From bad to worse the last 25 years. I've posted this twice on this thread, but will share it with you as well. It illustrates your point beautifully. It really hits home when you see the list. The Phins have had only 5 double digit win seasons & only 4 playoffs since 2002!!! 2024 8-9 Missed Playoffs 2023 11-6 Lost Wild Card Round (Won 0 Rounds) 2022 9-8 Lost Wild Card Round (Won 0 Rounds) 2021 9-8 Missed Playoffs 2020 10-6 Missed Playoffs 2019 5-11 Missed Playoffs 2018 7-9 Missed Playoffs 2017 6-10 Missed Playoffs 2016 10-6 Lost Wild Card Round (Won 0 Rounds) 2015 6-10 Missed Playoffs 2014 8-8 Missed Playoffs 2013 8-8 Missed Playoffs 2012 7-9 Missed Playoffs 2011 6-10 Missed Playoffs 2010 7-9 Missed Playoffs 2009 7-9 Missed Playoffs 2008 11-5 Lost Wild Card Round (Won 0 Rounds) 2007 1-15 Missed Playoffs 2006 6-10 Missed Playoffs 2005 9-7 Missed Playoffs 2004 4-12 Missed Playoffs 2003 10-6 Missed Playoffs 2002 9-7 Missed Playoffs
Such a disappointing season. I was at the game yesterday which only reemphasized the changes that need to be made. Then we hear late last night that Grier is returning. WHY. 20 + years of delivering NOTHING. Hill can leave so can Holland. We need to build an offensive line. Tua reliability is also a major concern
Very happy with Dolphins efforts during 2024 regular season. Hopefully changes are made to be much more successful in 2025. I fully trust ownership and management to eventually create a NFL dynasty during 21st century. Dolphins don't need Hill to be successful. We must maintain identity as a power running team. Playing complimentary football and winning time of possession. Plus keeping our defense fresh. Using our quarterbacks as game managers to limit negative plays.
Why does Miami fall in love with “Nice guy” Qb’s? Even when they’re a liability to the team, we stick with them and don’t bother to put competition in that room. They did it with Tannehill and now they’re doing it with Tua.
I’m from mass and I went to the game, what a mistake. Always fun seeing phin fans show up, at least we got a better pick. If healthy I think we are a good team, but I want to be a playoff team that can win games in January. Hopefully we adjust and come back strong, excited for the draft dudes
Im happy to bring back Grier and McDaniel for one more prove-it year under the condition that there is a much much clearer delineation between the roles of a HC and GM. The cross-pollination has not led to sustained success and needs to stop
What’s even more discouraging is Ross’ statements following the game. No changes will be made. We will be the same old dolphins until Ross gets off of his high horse and decides enough is enough with Grier.
Considering how the season played out. I'm willing to let both Grier and McDaniel have one final shot at a deep play off run. It's an adapt or die year for both of them, Tua is great when healthy - but he's proven to be unreliable. McDaniel has shown he can adapt between games but hasn't figured out how to adapt in game. Grier has brought in excellent FAs for good value this year, but still can't get the O line working and has let talent walk out the door. I would have been okay with Wilkens going if we had kept Jones and Van Ginkel but those were three talents we didn't manage to replace while still relying on Edge players coming back from injury. BUT all those can be learning lessons - but if they don't learn they need to go. We also need to do our best to hold on to Anthony Weaver who could be a future Dolphins HC - I do find it impressive that despite having 3 different DCs in the last 3 seasons our D has held up well - and maybe that's down to Grier's Defensive talent spotting (Apart from letting Van Ginkel go), or maybe we've played bad teams.
deep playoff run??? after 5 years of the great rebuild we are a fringe playoff team (Big deal when 43% make it) and that was with back to back bottom of the league schedules (this year the easiest, last year 3rd easiest) Tua is far from great. Even if healthy he is not top 12.
@iec7587 Well if they don't manage it next year give them the boot. I will accept a bad year if they learn from it. Stability and patience in the NFL is often lacking, some folks learn from mistakes and some don't so let's see if they do. I admit I am fortunate not to be a season ticket holder so my financial investment in the team success is limited.
@@iec7587 I agree, the dude played his heart out and deserved better. I'm also a diehard Miami Hurricanes fan and Calais is a baller even at this stage of his career.
This is what happens when the team is led by the players and not the head coach. McDaniel wants to be the players’ friend not their coach. That’s not what he gets paid for.
It’s unbelievable the news !!! Ross said will continue with this guy’s? Are you kidding? The Grier did something that made dolphins a great contender? I don’t believe it . McDaniel it’s a high school coach , he don’t had the respect from the players and he already show us , we can’t win one game in cold weather . It’s pathetic the news from Ross I can see now next season tickets won’t be sale for next year games with this news. I’m a Fan since 1990 and I never feel very desperate and disappointed .
Team owner has just laughed in everyone's face if that holds true. He can do what he wants, it's his right...but I also can do as I please with my entertainment $$.
This franchise is rotten/sick. It's rotting from the head down. You can use the term 'bad culture' if you like. For over a decade now, the Dolphins have seen issues caused by the same affliction. Everything rots. Attitudes, accountability, basic character/culture things. They always decline. Directly or indirectly it's Ross. Maybe he can fix it, maybe not, but I don't hold out hope. If the rumors are true of Grier retiring but retaining influence it will be one more proof. So sad to see it. But the organisation needs disinfecting. Until Ross sells, we're a dead team walking. Everyone should steer clear of us.
Look what the Broncos did to the Chiefs, they destroyed the Chiefs, and the Patriots killed the Bills. There are way too many games , 17 games causes too many injuries. Only 32 teams and only 1 team wins the Super Bowl. Way way too many injuries, penalties and turnovers. You really have to win your division, to really have a realistic chance. All we did was win with Shula, were in the playoffs a lot, and the fans eventually ran both Shula and Marino out of town. Disappointed with Tyreek, he did the same thing with the Chiefs and now with us. I appreciate his competitiveness, but he’s nor anyone else is above the team.
The fans who use relativistic arguments like “Well, at least we aren’t the Giants!” enable Ross to keep making the wrong decisions because they don’t demand excellence. Mediocrity is fine with them.
look at the lions, who got a real gm not a temu gm…& actually know that since the most important position is qb,they need to protect them,& even if a qb is hot garbage,as long as he can atleast be a caretaker, the defense can atleast carry it to a super bowl as long as the offense is scoring a lil & don’t do silly mistakes or turnovers or get injured,so they drafted sewell,& actually hit on multiple olinemen & even hit on free agent olinemen signings & with a caretaker qb had the best record in the nfc,all bcuz the gm knows how to draft & knows football, which it is simple, you run to open up the passing game,n that opens scoring opportunities, then you hope to hit on as many defensive lineman, linebackers & defensive backs in the draft & free agency,Grier needed to go first round qb(even with tua,to either groom under or replace tua,2nd guard,3rd center/guard 4th ot,5th dt 6th s/cb & 7th LB(extra picks go more cb & s…& free agency go oline heavy as well,so we can never have a wack oline again anytime soon,& fill out the remain free agents on the defensive side, but grier will do some silly draft & let teams trade above him for players that fall & reach & pick the wrong position like a cb or dt when it should’ve been another olinemen,I am so done with grier
Kyle as a lifelong fan since my mom bought me that 🐬 lunchbox in 83 I’m really struggling to find the strength to keep supporting this abysmal franchise
I'd say the biggest jokes on the fans is tuas guaranteed 250 gazillion dollar contract for a selfish player who will not take precautions to keep himself healthy and be there for his team late in the season. A ''budy' coach who is 3-15 against teams with winning records, no clue as how to discipline many men who could care less about playing football and a clueless gm. But the one joke that made me laugh was Reid sitting 10 starters and saying 'Hail the Dolphins'. This franchise is a joke - a sad pathetic joke. How about the soft D running off Vic Fangio - hmmm, isn't the Eagles Defense in the top 3. This team is in no way serious. Want to see a serious team - Watch the Detroit Lions. O' that's right miami got rid of Dan Campbell too. I hope to see under 1000 fans at every game next year and a 0-17 season. 🤡 world.
It needs to be even emptier...maybe ownership will start to pay attention. Give them a piece of your mind when they start calling with the season ticket renewal offers and turn off the TV on Sundays. Enjoy time with family and not having a heart attack over overpaid losers. Break the chain! It has done wonders for my health.
Nothing will change and progress is a joke! All the talent and speed won't do squat if we don't have a good offensive line, or a QB that can stay healthy, a coach who can't adjust his horrible play calling, a GM with over 20 years of constant failure and an owner with dementia!!
However they did say dolphins had most games missed by injured players...is that starters? The lions defense alone is destroyed by injuries. However, im assuming theh are talking presumed starters. Dolphins, at least hire Kyle as an analyst to start. I know he knows more than DJ Mike and just drawing up some cute plays and not adjusting to anything. Bye Hill.
My prediction for the 2025 season is 7 wins maximum The roster is Garbage, other than about 10-15 players. Everybody else on there is a fill in. They need to add/replace multiple pieces on the offense and defensive line and need an entire new defensive backfield. They need a couple linebackers, inside and a new QB. It's a joke and I hope the Miami writers take Steve Ross to the woodshed over it.
Ross must be a sadist. He treats fans that way. This franchise has been a joke for half a century and seemingly looking for another 50 years to keep on sucking. The only way Ross gets it, is if Dolphins run out of tunnel to an empty home stadium. Long past time to boycott this pathetic so-called organization.
If anyone has any hope for this team everyone needs to boycott the dolphins until grier and McDaniel are fired. Turn all season tickets in. Bash them all over the Internet. I'm so sick of the dumb management of this team. We will always suck
The good thing is Ross said he will change nothing and fire no one. We got at least another five years of sucking ass. I give up. I'm no longer a fan. 40 years wasted
Tua sucks, Hill sucks, Armstead sucks, Ramsey sucks, McDaniels sucks, and the front office sucks. This team could've gotten two or three decent lineman, a quarterback, and a couple of productive receivers just for what they Tua IRvailoa alone! I wouldn't pay 50 cents to watch this team play.
The Dolphins' wins were against poor teams. I don't blame Hill one bit. The guy has played injured all year and never missed a game. He has had some drops but he has been available unlike other players. We got Tua on the sidelines looking like weekends at Bernie's uninterested in the game. Horrible playcalling and time management problems again. I bet some players are tired of the bs this organization is pushing. It seems like McDaniel was brought hear to coach Tua and not the rest of the team. Hill was used as a decoy all year. You forget to mention that Hill stated that he is tired of just being out there and used a decoy. Stop making him as a scapegoat. Hill gets the attention that opens up everything for Smith and Achane. Then you have a dumb owner who comes out with we are running back statement. Talk about bad timing.
We will never win with Tua. He is always hurt. Will it be a concussion or a hip but it will he something or another. I really believe his concussion's are seizures because he doesn't event get hit hard. Everyone responsible for him being here needs to be fired. Brian Flores was right about Tua. Trash💩 Tyreek leave while ur still alive! !!
The Dolphins released a statement during my recording that both Mike McDaniel and Chris Grier would be back in 2025 with careful consideration to their failures. We'll touch on that on the next show.
Definition of insanity. Perpetual mediocrity.
49% winning percentage the last 10 years. Yeah we should just stay the course with Grier. Heck lets reward him with a new contract. Pfffft!
They are his yes men.....Ross is no idiot
@@gavriilnick4225 So season ticket holding fans should be his "No" men and women!
It should have read….this organization is a fucking shit show!
I was done with his shit after the traffic stop incident. Dude is full of shit and not a team captain imo
Tyrek equals BETA.
@@quinnjackson9252Bills should worry more about actually advancing in the playoffs rather than how Tyreek Hill reacts to their games. If Josh Allen is so great, then maybe he should get the Bills into a Super Bowl for the first time in 32 years.
Tyreek Hill = Team Cancer
Tua Unavailabalova
He looked ridiculous posing on the sidelines wearing his shades
I agree and thought exactly that same thing! McD and Tua are frauds!
Just a brutal season. I am ok with T-Hill going somewhere else.
Reminder Herbert hasn't won one either.
Herberts been much more durable
Depressing.
Finally??? 😮😮😮😅
@@michaelcarrasquillo7830how could you possibly feel defeated last year, it was wonderful
I've been a fan since 1972, when they were actually winning Superbowls, talk about loyalty!
Not even joking.
honestly i feel the same way, great show dude. finsup and even as bad as the team truly is
Yeah, Bills fans kinda realized this a couple of years ago.
Omg what is wrong with Stephen Ross? Both Chris Grier and Mike McDaniel back? Why??? What has Chris Grier done to deserve to come back? Atrocious
Grier knows enough dirt
on the organization to set them back decades lol
Ross is a life long Jets fan. He's a New Yorker. He originally wanted to buy the jets but was unable. Now us Dolphin fans are stuck until this idiot sells the team.
Agreed 100%
Ross is the problem since he bought the team.
So agree, who'd keep a GM that has accomplished zilch in twenty years and is rated almost dead last against every other head office.
Thanks for sharing the reasonable view.
Hill. 30..relies on speed ...undisciplined. if not wide open...done. boy have the Chiefs missed him the last 2 years 😂
That’s what N F L stands for. Not for long. Players come and go !
@@mikegray7850 Up until week 16 he had the best separation in the league, last year was #1
Thank you for your reasonable and emotional observations of what we all endured. We can only hope that if this is the final ride for our GM and Coach that they do with thoughtful corrections and not reckless abandon.
Hey let's look on the bright side...Tua's hair, tattoos and sunglasses looked great!

8-9 a clear step backwards. Please don’t make any excuses for McDaniels.
He really is a bad coach
@@Ballaholic17 While that is correct, those contracts also have outs coming up as well to avoid the cap hell. HOWEVER, I have zero confidence the Dolphins management knows what they are doing and will keep them all around only screwing us further for the next few years minimum lol.
Don't worry though. MR. MAGOO values "stability" and the "Great" working relationship between Mikey & Chrissy..... Please MR. MAGOO, have you ever heard the term INSANITY?? If you go to Insanity in the Dictionary, there is a picture of The Miami Dolphins there!!!

Grier won’t change his philosophy, so basically we are doomed
Can you define what McDaniel did over the last 3years to deserve a contract extension? I’m completely confused on the matter.
He redefined coach press conferences and sideline fashion...🤣🤣
Grier is not a good GM, McDaniel is not a good coach. How can this be so obvious to everyone but Steven Ross?
We’re screwed Chris coming back 🤦🏾♂️
I love how he made it a point to just drop that out there right off the bat for the fan base. That's a middle finger if I ever saw one!
I am a little older...feel the exact same....no hope
Glad to have you hear to really break everything down for us all🙌
I am in shock that Ross has said that Grier will be back. McDaniel I dont know but GRIER has got to go.
Some say that doing the same thing and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. It's obvious that the real problem is Stephen Ross.
@@joeblog2672 I tried to reply to you...but the Stephen Ross shadow ban team at TH-cam keeps deleting my replies. I guess I must be over the target. 🙂

Grier been in the building for 24 years.....him and Ross are tight
Looking forward to the 2026 season already…and while we sit an do nothing this year, NE will hire Vrabel in the next few days
I cant wait to see Tua cook without Hill. Tua is going to be on fire, literally as he burns down the kitchen the Dolphins organization to the ground. Next season is going to be hot ;)
Aye let me guess dolphin fans next yr go be different right 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😅😅😅😅😅
5th year of the great rebuild after having NINE 1st and 2nd round picks in aback to back loaded drafts and a clean cap. Drafts that Grier messed up AND coming off back to back years with the easiest schedule in the league. AND we are a fringe WC team
Next year we have a much harder schedule than we have had in years.....cant wait
Your comment is highly underrated!! 👍
I feel so hopeless right now
Bills fans felt the same way, then we got rid of Diggs and it’s all sunshine and rainbows. Maybe this will be good for the Dolphins long term. Sorry about the lousy finish, we at least wanted you to beat Rodgers.
@ tbh, it helped us to get a better draft pick and the Chiefs just gave up, so maybe it was the better option
And Ross immediately announces Grier is coming back. A fan for 40 years...I think it's time to watch from afar. This is a clueless organization
As for Tyreek Hill, if it wasn’t for ball he’d be a cast member on First 48 Pork n Beans edition. My question is who’s the bigger “MARK”? Stephen Ross or Jerry Jones.
Why pick wr when oline is so bad. defense almost takes the handoff.
Please write all O Line complaints in care of: Chris Grier 😜
Build up lines of scrimmage draft another qb fairly early. Hopefully McDaniel will coach more smarter (ie) more mature game day decisions
Its not easy by any means but some coaches can call plays and manage the situational aspect game at the same time. Mike McDaniel has shown himself to not be among them. Maybe handing playcalling duties off to someone else is the solution. I get the sense that he is more adept at designing offense than executing it on gameday.
Wasn't John embree supposed to be a taskmaster to help McD? How can anyone think McD will adjust when he hasn't for 3 seasons. But next year he will?
Tyreek didn't check out at the end of the season, he never checked in this season. An off-season filled with vet rest for Tyreek and QB1 hold outs didn't help the much needed chemistry between QB and receiver. And no you couldn't count on rolling out last year's game plan, the change in enforcing the pre-snap motion towards line of scrimmage killed Tyreek's separation. Let's be honest, Tyreek could have made a difference by adapting his game and he didn't. Sad.
Was more upset van ginkle was fone over wilkins and hunt because he was blossoming and wouldn't be so expensive

Time to pick a new team
A slap on the face to the fan base by a tone deaf ownership. Fans need to speak with their money and stop funding this nonsense.

@@Finsup2100 Absolutely...Boycott is the word of the off season for Dolphins fans.
We also need to do our best to hold on to Anthony Weaver who could be a future Dolphins HC - I do find it impressive that despite having 3 different DCs in the last 3 seasons our D has held up well - and maybe that's down to Grier's Defensive talent spotting (Apart from letting Van Ginkel go), or maybe we've played bad teams.
deep playoff run??? after 5 years of the great rebuild we are a fringe playoff team (Big deal when 43% make it) and that was with back to back bottom of the league schedules (this year the easiest, last year 3rd easiest)
Tua is far from great.
If there one player I feel bad for that’s Calis Campbell. He gave his all for a team that was not worth his service. McDaniel is not a good coach.
They should have traded him to Balt so he could be in the playoffs and have received a 4th but MM pissed and moaned
@@iec7587 I agree, the dude played his heart out and deserved better. I'm also a diehard Miami Hurricanes fan and Calais is a baller even at this stage of his career.
owner and all there have to go. im fan for 50 plus sick of this
This is what happens when the team is led by the players and not the head coach. McDaniel wants to be the players’ friend not their coach. That’s not what he gets paid for.
McDaniel doesn't have a backbone....he's buddy buddy with the players...
No disrespect, but if Tyler Huntley was any good, he would not have been on a practice squad.
Losing Tyreek is going to be like the Bills losing Diggs. It's a team sport and if you have a squeaky cog it affects everything.
It’s pathetic the news from Ross
I can see now next season tickets won’t be sale for next year games with this news.
I’m a Fan since 1990 and I never feel very desperate and disappointed .
Team owner has just laughed in everyone's face if that holds true. He can do what he wants, it's his right...but I also can do as I please with my entertainment $$.
First Jimmy Butler now Tyreek Hill 👀 Y'all taking major L's in Miami sheesh
Are we? I don't think it's as bad as you think it is.
I posted this earlier...but here it is. To your point as to being in the playoffs A LOT, it becomes so obvious when looked at in this format!!! We have become team irrelevant since 2002.

Tyreek must have watched Jimmy Butler's last postgame interview.
Gosh, who could’ve seen that coming?! 🤣
That was just the Dolphins doing what the Dolphins always do.
The fans who use relativistic arguments like “Well, at least we aren’t the Giants!” enable Ross to keep making the wrong decisions because they don’t demand excellence. Mediocrity is fine with them.
We meed a new owner...period!
Why do you never call anyone out? You tip toe around it. This team quit weeks ago, where have you been?
GO JETS 💚
“Cute little one player award” is crazy you minimized a accomplishment no other wr got yes he was wrong but come on Kyle
It’s the same nonsense over and over again with this team. I’ve been dying a little more each day for 41 years, since I was 9 years old.
look at the lions, who got a real gm not a temu gm…& actually know that since the most important position is qb,they need to protect them,& even if a qb is hot garbage,as long as he can atleast be a caretaker, the defense can atleast carry it to a super bowl as long as the offense is scoring a lil & don’t do silly mistakes or turnovers or get injured,so they drafted sewell,& actually hit on multiple olinemen & even hit on free agent olinemen signings & with a caretaker qb had the best record in the nfc,all bcuz the gm knows how to draft & knows football, which it is simple, you run to open up the passing game,n that opens scoring opportunities, then you hope to hit on as many defensive lineman, linebackers & defensive backs in the draft & free agency,Grier needed to go first round qb(even with tua,to either groom under or replace tua,2nd guard,3rd center/guard 4th ot,5th dt 6th s/cb & 7th LB(extra picks go more cb & s…& free agency go oline heavy as well,so we can never have a wack oline again anytime soon,& fill out the remain free agents on the defensive side, but grier will do some silly draft & let teams trade above him for players that fall & reach & pick the wrong position like a cb or dt when it should’ve been another olinemen,I am so done with grier
No disrespect Kyle why you talk like you better coach than Mike ???
So envious of the Lions right now…
Another season under McDaniel and Grier is a wasted year...
Julian Hill sucks. Watched him completely whiff at least 5 blocks this game. A practice squad player on any other roster in the league
Bye Tyreek!!! Make sure you take your 14 kids with ya 😅
Kyle as a lifelong fan since my mom bought me that 🐬 lunchbox in 83 I’m really struggling to find the strength to keep supporting this abysmal franchise
Same here man.
🤡 world.
Tyreek. Ricky Williams Reggie Bush. Same thing the NFL got them down to Miami so they won't lose fans. Empty stadium isn't a good look
I’m actually excited for him to leave. Hope we can get something good for him. Waddle will grow, smith will grow, and Washington will grow.
Nothing will change and progress is a joke! All the talent and speed won't do squat if we don't have a good offensive line, or a QB that can stay healthy, a coach who can't adjust his horrible play calling, a GM with over 20 years of constant failure and an owner with dementia!!
Waddle is done...he stole the money...and is coasting now
Get me 2 elite guards
2 elite safties
Re Back up qb
Wait and listen to the draft pics. If they sound like nice guys. Grier is on it again. 😂
Bye Hill.
The Banged Up Score had Miami at 17th this week and routinely hovered around 20-22.
You said Kyle this is an unlikable football team!!!!
CHERRY ON TOP. LOSING TO RODGERS AND THE JETS 😂😂😂 AND SOUNDS LIKE ITS GOINGBTO BE DEJA VU . RUN IT ALL BACK
If you guys let Hill go back to the Chiefs…..
Glad the Tyreek fatigue has also set in on you.
If anyone has any hope for this team everyone needs to boycott the dolphins until grier and McDaniel are fired. Turn all season tickets in. Bash them all over the Internet. I'm so sick of the dumb management of this team. We will always suck
32-20
I TOLD YOU THEY WOULD CHOKE.
The good thing is Ross said he will change nothing and fire no one. We got at least another five years of sucking ass. I give up. I'm no longer a fan. 40 years wasted
hill is antonio brown 2.0
We overpaid for hill...the guy never earned his pay
We will never win with Tua. He is always hurt. Will it be a concussion or a hip but it will he something or
another. I really believe his concussion's are seizures because he doesn't event get hit hard.
Everyone responsible for him being here needs to be fired.
Brian Flores was right about Tua. Trash💩 Tyreek leave while ur still alive! !!
Most disappointing season since 2007
