I may have told a sad story about one of my students. Brad wanted to be a paramedic ever since I met him. He fulfilled his dreams. However, the ambulance he was driving hit a moose on the way to another accident. He died at the scene. When they show slow down showing moose crossing, they mean it. I added before that we have hunted moose up in northern Alberta. We have driven much slower than the posted speed in early morning or at night because of moose. . . . they tend to topple over into a vehicle when they collide with it.
Forest fires destroy \ so much it not just threes but animals and birds also the heat from the fires effect the climate as the heat up the upper atmosphere they also destroy so much beauty so Enjoyed your videos it good to see your beautiful countryside
Ken and Kia looking for foliage! Wow, at the small mountains the trees have sure turned color! Beautiful drone shots Ken! That is a lot of haze. Nice colors. Pretty drive. Thanks for this Ken!
The haze from the fires is really bad. I spent Saturday on a Moosehead Lake cruise on the Katahdin and it really cutdown on what are normally spectacular views. Still a great day though!
Good to see you back in this format..... sorry about the smoke but Mother Nature is a wild lady some time. Love the video and look forward to another in the coming weeks when the colour is even more pronounced. Ottawa Canada
Thanks Ken for another great ride-a-long. and check on the foliage. I was fortunate to have seen the "Old man in the Mt" before he lost the battle with gravity. seen it many times in passing thru the area. I see there was a few Pine beetles at work up that way too!. You have few more reds than we do here in the Berkshires. mostly yellows right now. thanks for sharing. ECF
@@kensscenicjourneys7190 Ken You wouldn't recognize Germany, a lot has changed. If I wasn't just 10 years younger than you, I would easily immigrate to the States. It's no longer any fun here with the Left, the Greens, gender politics, who are bringing out more and more senseless laws to steal the people's rights and money. Greetings from Berlin
I enjoyed the ride. Thanks.
Thanks
Thank you Ken that was beautiful.

Always expect to hear a Loon or two on a local pond with New Hampshire Fall Foliage viewing. Don’t know where that comes from, On Golden Pond maybe.
Haha
I can’t believe those fires are still cooking especially with all the rain that the mid Atlantic has gotten 😬
Right
Could you tell the date you are filming so we can get a idea for the lower 48 thank you for sharing
