the cable was holding the wall where the dancers come out, one of the dancers was supposed to unhatch it but it got stuck. He said that it happened once while still in Finland during rehearsals and he forgot about it and then it just appeared in his face again xd. good thing he has fast reflexes.

As someone who doesn't understand the lyrics, it can mean whatever I want it too mean, I don't care! 🤣🍻 It sounds great, love the dancers - The performance was fantastic! Instant ESC royalty in my book.

Alcohol is in quite a many cultures part of the songs and music as well. The difference between this one and many Finnish drinking songs is that in other songs there are liquors, boose, vodka. In this one pina colada, a pint and champagne is mentioned. Where drinking is usually about pouring the liquids in your mouth, in this one champagne is poured all over yourself. So in my understanding there is much less drinking than in any typical songs that are either glorifying drinking or about heavy use of alcohol.
Other than that, Käärijä has mentioned several times that he used to drink hard when he was young. But at this point of his life, he'd rather hang out with friends and play Playstation, and drink those pina coladas for party's sake. So there needs to be some other interpretation to the whole song than it being about glorifying drinking. It is a party song all right, but textually, contextually, you need to read those few lines of texts more in depth. He is drinking until he can't stay on the chair and then he heads to the dance floor, because he wants to dance (but needs to break the icy shell or shyness or whatever by taking a few which is quite common in other cultures as well, and even for me, abstainer).
The whole show is very camp in ESC sense. There has been the serious songs that are made to chart well, or to promote each country's songwriting or music, and then there are year after year the songs which celebrate the difference, uniting people. And this one falls in the latter. A week after ESC final it was #6 on UK official single chart, and it is breaking Finnish streaming records, and that comes out of a total nothing: it was not made to chart internationally. It was made to win UMK, Finnish national final and to celebrate the weird and camp in ESC. Also to promote Käärijä, because he had not had much gigs before, almost nobody in Finland knew him, and now he is known internationally. So Käärijä and Cha cha cha has exceeded quite well the original goals...
And of course, if you take the competition seriously and think it is a singing contest, which should somehow celebrate the conventional music, certain type of music that is to be taken seriously, this one is a joke. I have always been into the weird and unique, rather than the conventional and unsurprising.

The Grand Final was probably his worst vocals, of all of the live versions. Apparently, his best version was during the Jury performances.

I guess he was just nervous based off his voice but idk

I think the best performance overall - vocals, staging, props, dancers, coreography, lighting, camera angles, and TV direction all included in the assessment - is really the one he gave in the national selection (UMK)... which is also available on TH-cam. Had they been able to replicate _that_ in Liverpool, he might have fared better.

You represent well the ideas which led to Loreen winning the Eurovision. Two entirely different approaches to the whole competition which did not meet at all.
Please check out guitarist Tim Henson playing unplugged version on "Playing God" a guitar instrumental piece by Polyphia he is the guitarist for. It is a nice combination of modern
    and classical elements.

Olisi ollut aika tärkeää suomalaisena myös nostaa sitä sanoituksen syvempää merkitystä omien epävarmuuksien voittamisesta esiin.

Don't know what this is about? I've got an idea. If I close my eyes, I'm transported back to The Queen's Park Savanah in Port of Spain Trinidad duting Carnival 2006. This is in fact a Soca tune from Trinidad & Tabago being covered by a stiff European. Only when one opens their eyes and sees how bland are the costumes and dance moves that it becomes clear that this is not a Trini Road March piece.

How can you make these negative assessments with so little knowledge of EuroVision? A better understanding of the contest, the artists, and the process would make the commentary more credible.

This was the 4th time I heard it, and I still don't understand the hype. Mediocre rap about drinking turns into a lame song about drinking, performed by a guy who can't sing. I think it's just his sleeves and attitude.
