Turns out reading a book out loud in a hot room and unconfortable chair isnt as easyas it sounds. There is a lot more jump cutty areas than I am proud of however, Something new to practice!
Written from the perspective of a man in custody, He recounts a lifetime of
strange "psychedelic" experiences he has near a church that claims his mind,
much to his family and communities dismay. Are these experiences real? seems even he may not know.

i just found your channel and im kind of finding myself inspired by it. idk why but i haven't encountered that many channels that focus on talking about art. theres lots of people on yt with good takes about random stuff but it seems like what youre doing is taking the commentary channel type format and applying it to real discussions about interesting art. its a good idea that i haven't really seen before.
ill be honest music discussions like the ones you make aren't really my cup of tea and i think your videos could be a little more fast paced, or at least less lethargic. i don't mean jake paul type idiot editing but i think you'll figure it out. more energy, more attention holding stuff. ive been ruined by years on this site i guess its not easy to keep my attention sometimes lol. also i do like music a lot but i'd probably only really want to watch discussions about jazz and jazz related genres. i guess thats part of why your name caught my eye but also i think the whole channel name is hilarious so i had to see whats up. anyways yeah i won't pretend im like a superfan or something but im gonna sub to see where this all goes. this video im commenting on is an interesting idea too, i think you should ask yourself how to make an audiobook interesting visually. as it is its pretty much just an audiobook, but you're on youtube yaknow? unless you're going for an asmr type thing i think some investment in visuals is necessary. otherwise why make it a video at all?
aaanyways sorry for rambling. the point is ive always kind of wanted to make a youtube channel but i never knew what to do. maybe ill rip of your idea of art discussions but with books or something lol. i just like talking about art too and the discussions you have in your comment sections seem awesome. thats exactly the kind of thing id want. so, in conclusion, cool videos, 334th subscriber out. and thanks for inspiring me.

Dude thank you for the comment! If you are interested in Art commentary I highly recommend Solar Sands! Yeah I am still in the process of finding my pacing, I am very much trying to avoid the high pacing Paul style but you are right I really do need to speed it up a bit.
This series is supposed to be closer to an audio book, but for sure needs to be more visually interesting, or yeah I could just put it on Spotify or something. And I'd prefer TH-cam lol.
Make some videos! I don't expect to go anywhere crazy, it just feels good to make something and put it out there. A creative release has helped me at least. Thank you again for watching, I appreciate it!

Holy shit man reading from the public domain is an awesome idea for a smaller series. Legit I think something like that could get picked up by the algorithm and blow up with a little refinement and editing. Good shit my guy.

Thank you! I need to get better at reading out loud, it's a lot tougher that I thought lol.
Feel free to try it if you want, I bet there's enough out there In the public domain I won't be able to get to a lot of it.

Jazz and his growing group of Very Real friends it’s a great idea and I might not use it for my own projects but if I ever did I would extensively explain why I’m really interested in it and how your videos inspired that interest. Also I’d like to make a video essay dissuasion about content creators that I’ve been seeing pop up more and more on this site that are indicative of a shift toward a new wave of TH-cams that happens every few years on this platform. Idk how to articulately through this comment properly but it’s definitely something I’m interested in elaborating on.

I would watch that lol, I always just spew out a script and then refine for a week or two. If you make that video let me know!

Jazz and his growing group of Very Real friends id be happy to update you. I don’t wanna sound sappy but your channel and others like it legit gives me hope for the future of TH-cam as a platform. Regardless of what the platform looks like 5 years from now I hope that passionate creators find a comfortable niche within the TH-cam community. I also don’t wanna come across as lecturing you man but I highly suggest you start networking. Like not immediately but maybe if you have the extra income think about going to vidcon someday. I’m not a creator myself but from what I know it’s a great way to network with other creators. But honestly do you man I’m confident that the content your producing will find an audience. If a channel this small can catch my attention I know it’s something special. Best of luck with any future projects you enjoy making.
