I remember watching my dad build this kit in 1971. He was based in Hong Kong and was at home watching my brother and me as mum was very sick and bed bound. He wasn't a modeller, only building this for something to do. No paint! He gave it to me as a toy, and I was fascinated that this bunch of bits could become this model. This kit inspired me, some two years later at 8 years old to start building models.
hi, this kit dates back to the 60's. i remember it as a child. the moulds are so old no wonder you have trouble with it. ok in 1965, went together great.

i like it but it is more like a filter than a wash i find but i have had some nice looking effects from it
