I do the same thing with garlic for my oranda gold fish, combined with catappa leaves extract. It goes very well!!! No more unorganic medicine use 😅

If the fish have parasites so does the tank, treating fish in a seperate tank then putting them back in the tank with the parasites won't work

I split open garlic pearls and soak pellet food in it and feed my fish...It is far simpler !!

Gold fish and not made for aquarium they good in pind but if u keep in tank put just couple of pair its can be in ur 2 ft tank about 8-9 mnth then you have to upgrade thank as thier size increases

Don’t do that. Garlic has burning effect for fish if u skip the step. I used to do that when I quarantined my sick oranda gold fish. She didnt survive 😢

Yes I think so it just turns into a paste but my fishes eat it anyway
@@tayuyyauchiha That's what it's intended for, it has multiple uses though. It can also be used in medicated food mix, or even help diagnosis but not foolproof of course. For example, if their is a fish that isn't eating, you mix this with flakes or pellets, and if the fish shows no interest at all then you know there is something wrong besides just being a picky eater/appetite, if you tried all types of different food/diets with no success.

@@truepetsaqua9215 So while it can prevent and even kill parasites, if your fish has parasites best to try a broad range spectrum medication *All in one) like Sea Chem Paraguard, though it's very possible that this could be the cure completely depending on severity and some other factors (biological) I assume. All natural is definitely is worth trying, and worth soaking food in garlic to feed fish just to improve immune system alone, and it promotes a good appetite, my fish definitely love it. You can also use it in a mix with medication, for example focus, kanaplex, and metro to help make the food attractive to eat.

Mine are behaving same .. The moment i see her doing that i change tank water and add rock salt to it .. And then she dsnt flash,also i keep water stored with declorine added in it. Also 1 spoon salt in 3 ltr of water.. And change it 50 % when they flash
