Love your channel, I let my LTC lapse like 10 years ago and didn’t even realize because I got so into ball and cap, I started carrying them full time and haven’t touched a cartridge gun in like 6 ish years
I live near oregon just south of it and percussion caps are basically non existent. I think alot folks living on the east coast tend to be able to find those caps much easier, us on the westcoast are feeling the cap shortage the hardest.
Slix shot nipples are excellent. They WORK. One caveat: stainless steel is generally softer than carbon steel. My set of Slix nipples has suffered badly from a few dry fires, with one nipple being pretty much beaten into uselessness. Shit happens after a thousand or so rounds i suppose. Also, the Slix wrench is very nice. Don't know of anyone who makes one as nice.
Hey buddy, I would definitely be interested in buying those percussion caps off you. You say you find them easily in your area. Lucky dog ‘cause I sure can’t in mine. Love the channel by the way, keep making videos!
@@ElectricArrowRifle have not gotten a conversion cylinder yet. I should have gotten it way back when the cost was lower than an actual gun. Plus 45 LC is so expensive to shoot
@@TheDefenseCoalition i ended up getting one for my 58 remington 5.5. But yeah their atleast 100 overpriced. I found some hollow point conical though I'm gonna use in the black powder cylinder . Gotta resize them down little.
Your a history buff and a black powder shooter. Man you could of been a leader in the union I hope that’s ok to comment
@@Floridaman6815 sounds about ok to me.

Please tell us about that coating on the revolver, it looks nice! Does it help protect against bp corrosion?
It’s cerakote and you’ll never have to deal with corrosion again. They don’t do the barrel tho, so you’ll have to stay on that
Good shit bro
Awesome pistol did you cut and shape the grip looks great 👍 and as a Idea I was going to put a laser in the hole for the bullet packer
Yes. I had a gunsmith round the grips and frame.
Looks great 👍 @@TheDefenseCoalition
