First off, I just wanna say your voice reminds me of Obama . But I would really like the idea of more modern black powder designs like why has no one made a 209 primer revolver?
Lmao! I’m not sure but I’m gonna do a video to American gun craft as well because it makes no sense.
@TheDefenseCoalition Right, I figured them of all people considering the badass mail order shotguns, they would have started a line of something else .
@@jrab3464 i did a video on them not too long ago that they probably didn’t like. I told them to at least give us a derringer because they already did some ballsy shit by that badass Diablo pistol.
th-cam.com/video/fhwPBUfwQ_U/w-d-xo.htmlsi=l7pkrdg14YsRs__o
@TheDefenseCoalition I hope this gains some traction and gets some gears turning somewhere and whatever it is that someone comes up with. If it's affordable, it will sell.I'll check out that video.
Yes !!
What was that revolver with the 209 primers?
@@nicholasseidel2065 that’s a Czech Republic revolver that they modified over there. I found the image on google
yes yes yes
New to your channel, but did you get a conversion cylinder for that too. Nice looking revolver.
@@ElectricArrowRifle have not gotten a conversion cylinder yet. I should have gotten it way back when the cost was lower than an actual gun. Plus 45 LC is so expensive to shoot
@@TheDefenseCoalition i ended up getting one for my 58 remington 5.5. But yeah their atleast 100 overpriced. I found some hollow point conical though I'm gonna use in the black powder cylinder . Gotta resize them down little.
As I teenager l built a CVA Philadelphia derringer
The Philadelphia is a sweet piece. I want to do a video on it, but I feel I need to personally have it in my hand first it’s too remarkable to just make a PowerPoint video.
As a Looong-time BP fan/Looong-time CVA fan, BRING IT ON!! Kinda like a "back-to -the-future vibe!! Like 1830's was a mere coupla hundred years ago!! If deringers(sic) were cool then, why not now?? BP teaches patience/discipline/ basic firearm handling/function/care. Something kids today, with knee-jerk/gimmee NOW! attitudes have not taken seriously, in order to unlock the systemic fun of shooting sports.( IMO) Two kinds of people: Those who day-dream/ build "Castles in the air". And, those who build a foundation first, then build their dreams upon that foundation.( A HUGE SHOUT-OUT to my 8th grade teacher, who kept a "print-out" taped to the "chalk-board" with that motto!!) So, yes, let's see that CVA deringer(sic/ see: Henry Deringer). CVA: ALL THE WAY!!( My fav since 1974!!)
I hope to see CVA put something together for the community.
I would buy it
Yep , do it .
Yes we need one it's about time
A cva revolver would be lovely if it’s chambered in 50 cal and uses 209 primers hopefully they can come out with that idea and make it affordable for everyone
That's what I'm saying. The affordable part would be hard, though, I think .
Please do
Those very nice bird's head grips will also fit on the Pietta Pepperbox.
YES
Yes
Heck yes, sign me up, there's definitely a demand for it👍👍👍
cva produced 1860 army's in the 1970's i have one i bult fro a kit
Where do I get the holster?
The link to it is in the video on my page titles 1858 Remington model holsters
@TheDefenseCoalition thank you
The thumbnail was the detonics pistol only available in Czech Republic. I've been wanting one in the US since they came out. I really hope CVA pulls this off. And their F1 carbine shotgun
Someone has to whether it’s them, bond arms or American gun craft… someone has to answer to me!
This looks like click bait. Tiny black powder guns have been around as long as any revolver or rifle. Derringers, snake eyes and pepper boxes. 31 cal even 36 cal. And with guns like a howdah pistol, the company would be wasting their time.
I'm gonna say what everyone is thinking... there is a burgeoning market for new black powder designs now that states are cracking down so ungodly hard on anything considered a "firearm". Why not a top break black powder revolver with lighting fast cylinder swaps?
I didn’t even think about a top break design. I gotta give credit where it’s due.
Theyll just make a law against it. Cant have the wage slaves able to defend themselves. Its almost like we need to quit finding work arounds and grow a pair and use the 2nd amendment how Marios brother did before our descendants futures are complete utter nightmares
@ I like your way of thinking. Hopefully, there’s enough 2A people in congress to kinda undo what was done to the second amendment
I always thought a modernish black powder revolver would be cool but then I realized the only people that would buy it would be felons. Now I'm not saying felons are bad people but I will say that's something I really don't want to market to. You'd get a similar reputation as hi point
@ I’d say felons with bad intentions don’t have the will power to learn what it takes to even load one. Especially in blue cities where the alphabet boys will be at your door if powder is purchased. We’re talking kids who can’t change a spare tire. They’re gonna opt for the stolen sig from someone’s car with modern cartridges if you ask me, but you make a fair assessment.
A double action pepperbox would be cool.
@@klawockkidd3426 agreed. Hell yeah it would.
NAA has a rimfire revolver with convertable bp cap 'n ball cylinder. Perhaps a top break DA rimfire and a clone of the Sharps 4 barrel deringer with both sets of barrels.
a lot of the OG pepperboxes were DA.
Why are you doing this whole pitch while imitating Don Lafontaine?
@@randym4077 1. it’s simply showcasing a skill 2. I get my point across clearly with a professional narration, 3. It appeals to a wider audience as well as the companies I’m speaking to. When I’m speaking for a wide group of people, there’s certainly ways things need to be done. Plus it’s working for me and the channel. These videos tend to reach people faster and the content is more respected.
A black powder double action would be fun
Star DA
doe sit come in that finish or did you have to done yourself
Did not come this way. I had to use cerakote.
@TheDefenseCoalition oh ok I figured it was custom it looks amazing I'll have to get me one
@ thanks man
0:20 Already have my coffee. You must have known i was coming 😅 💥💥💥
3 minute coffee
I want one
I'm all for it, Ruger did it best, can CVA compete?
@@herlemaggard69 it’s going to be one hell of a fight. I’m not sure if CVA has strong enough steel to match, but I’m looking forward to it.
Love the new videos
@@NovojClothes-d3x I appreciate you! Thank you.
🤣🤣
We’re wondering how they killed the cereal !!! 👁👁👁👽👽👽🚀🚀🚀🛸🛸🛸
Just sent this joke the other day. Love it
Sounds interesting. Good luck! Percussion caps are not unreliable! The Czech company, "Greatgun," also produces an excellent design os an over and under double barrel Derringer type of muzzleloading pistol up to 54 caliber, which is something considered as an example!
Percussion caps are LESS reliable than 209 primers are, though. & the only problem with the pistols from Czech is that they are not here in the US. I’m calling on US companies to modernize muzzleloading here in America.
Oh 😂
This is 100% how I would make a short of a video if I made one. Ain't got NO time for that
Picked up John Ryder, lol.
Since their inception, I have always said, "WTH would anyone buy a Bond Arms firearm????" IMO, an over-priced, over-sized( for a CC) two-shot( good for gaming-table distances only) HEAVY toy. WHAT EV.Your money/your choice. As for BP?? WHY NOT?? Same capacity/same distance/same weight, PLUS, what a deringer(sic) was originally designed to address. And, in similar original BP ballistics. (.36=.38cal/later .32, I think was the evolution, then .41, .44, then .45smokeless). What ev.
What is in the barrels?
@@ScotOsageRez one barrel has a 50 cal hollow point in a shot cup and the other has a 12 gauge slug and several buckshot.
@TheDefenseCoalition that is freaking awesome! Great for a hog and coyote at the same time!
I have doubts about a short barrel black powder derringer achieving high enough velocity to make a jacketed hollow point bullet to expand.
@@TheGrendelbane check out the detonics gladiator 500 pistol online.
@TheDefenseCoalition who ran clothing/gel test on it? 45 acp has barely enough power to expand
@@TheDefenseCoalition I would love to see a Detonics here in America but I think our unfriends at the FTA- - - - - 🔫 would look upon that unfavourably because of political motivations.
@ that’s the main reason I am on the ass of American companies that have the potential to do so. American gun craft is going to be the next ones who I do a video about.
Soft lead Round balls are quite devastating. Also hard cast wad cutter, or semi-wadcutters. I was really surprised. I’ll post a video from my other channel.
LOL.
Absolutely a game changer, for a while Dixi Gun works offered kit guns like the twister and snake eyes, but are no longer available, a higher caliber like the 45 is just what we need.
How does this change the game?
@FoulPet I would never argue that with a foul pet 🐕🦺🐾🐶🐾🐕🐾🐈🐾🐈⬛🐾🙀
@jamessimpson5051 I'm not sure answering a question is an argument, but it could turn into one, I suppose
@ for modern muzzleloading in America. It would be bond arms’ first muzzleloader.
@TheDefenseCoalition that's cool and great to see another company in the BP market. I just don't see how it drastically changes the game. I enjoy BP. I have 3 revolvers and 2 rifles. This doesn't make me want to add it to my collection. Looks like more of a novelty. If Ruger brought back their Old Army I'd get in line.
That would be sweet , I still haven't been able to confirm the usage of a 209 primer as a "prohibited person" in indiana
@@herlemaggard69 call the state police directly and ask for a trooper that can explain state laws regarding 209 primers.
💪🫡
Are they drop safe? My guess is no
Make a shotgun pistol that shoots the mini shells
@@rickyjones1784 atf won’t allow that unless the barrels are a certain length long.
Nice
That would be a fantastic bringback.
@@blackpowderpapa I wish that they would. I started the petition and have close to 200 signatures so far.
