I was wondering what your impression on that scene of Lumine running back to Khaenri'ah was, but I've always assumed it is just after Lumine deals with the Unknown God and escapes (with her powers intact as you observe). I don't think you could say she was depowered and has to chase around seven nations to get repowered because why would Khaenri'ah's fires and the Unknown God's cubes still be there years and years latter? Still I've recently seen someone suggest that Lumine in this scene is just heading back to Kahenri'ah from somewhere else before the twins set off to see the Unknown God. To me it seems like Lumine is running because she knows Khaenri'ah is under attack and is rushing back to help. When she sees Khaenri'ah in flames and the red cubes she sits down as she understands she is too late to do anything. So to me this only fits the facts of Lumine just after she escapes from the Unknown God which she manages to do almost immediately

And just to clarify, she is no Descender either, as the 1st (the Primordial One, Phanes) and the 2nd (the Second Who Came) most probably got “rid off” of the 3rd Descender and used their remains to create the Gnoses, and the Traveler is the 4th.
