Let's see... If Mavuika was the Pyro Archon 500 years ago, at the same time that the Kahenri'ah cataclysm happened and in the lore we are told that ALL THE ARCHONS EXCEPT RUKKHADEVATA WERE SENT BY CELESTIA TO KAHENRI'AH, shouldn't Mavuika be able to give us information about the cataclysm? And if the explanation is that Mavuika put her life essence into the sacred fire... does that mean that she disobeyed Celestia and did not go to Kahenri'ah? If so, would that explain the celestial pillar in the night realm? Shouldn't it be on the surface of Natlan and not in the night realm?
The natlan story isn't finished yet. The redacted name in pyro gemstone is still there and according to dainsleif in teyvat prevail trailer maviuka will share secret to us and also the waxal ubah khan story is also left
We still have the release of the volcano and the cleansing of Little Ones flamelord blessing to come as well as the Mare Jivari as and this years Dainsleif quest on the way
Raiden Shogun has a voiceline describing a feild of molten ash the size of musojin gourge. So its likely that Mavuika or the acting pyro archon was there. Plus, every pyro archon inherits the memories of their predecessor.
i was never really into the lore of genshin. but since natlan i'm kinda digging it a lot. loved the WQs especially. thank you for this video. kinda crazy how people make out natlan to be low on the lore side
I've found a lot of the fans like this only listen to the voiced out dialogue and ignore a majority of the other sources that provide info to them. Which is fine but also they shouldn't complain about not receiving info that they aren't seeking out 😭🙏 I also think the immaculate pacing of the Fontaine archon questline and huge play from Focalors at the end set some high expectations.
You should look into Sumeru's lore. Watch some theory videos or patch recaps. Just trust me lol, there's a LOT of interesting stuff there. The same goes for Fontaine.
@@catdownthestreet yeah, i know it's good. since i started following some lore yt channels, i kinda know the general gist of it. but i want to replay or rewatch some if not all story content some time in the future. for now i guess im just a casual lore enjoyer 😅
To be fair, there are 3 Khaenri'ahns we know of that seem to have escaped the Curse of Immortality before Natlan: Clothar, Halfdan, and Caribert, though the latter two did it in ways that are unlikely to be replicated en masse.
Re: the Hexenzirkel possibly having a member from Enkanomiya, I'd bet on Alice, since the Byakuyokoku Collection mentions an "Eris" whose Inazuman name is "Arisu," which is the romanization for how "Alice" is pronounced in Japanese. Add in that Alice renamed the Har Islands into "The Golden Apple Archipelago," and that the Greek Goddess Eris is famous for starting the Trojan War using a Golden Apple...
I don't remember any post quest dialogues tackling that! usually that is when it is talked about 😭😭😭 Maybe traveler just threw in the towel on that info out of the Pyro archon because he found out they're all originally human so they can't be the Sustainer. Or maybe they'll finally get to asking for Mavuikas act 2. But usually that gets covered in the main questline 😭
didnt they sort of get closure after a bedtime chapter during fontaine? Plus, considering how hands on Mavuika has been- she would have mentioned her to us
Finding the sister is no longer the main goal, it's just a plot to keep us moving. It's that cliche where a hero go adventuring only to end up saving the world.
@@rhozpogi We already fount our sister/ Abyss Twin, They said: Continue your journey and we'll meet again at journey's end or something along those lines. Our main goal now is finding out what about "The Truth of this world" made them form the Abyss Order or are they being controlled somehow since their name was altered into Tayvet's World Tree. There is a War going on and "We" the main character didn't want to pick a side, only find our sibling and jump ship. The Sustainer forced us into staying, our journey will determine what side we support and the future of its "Rules"
I love the final archon quest for Natlan! It’s a very satisfying ending (and beginning) for Natlan! A good ending for Natlan’s constant struggle for war, and a new beginning for it at the same time! Also I don’t know if you’ve heard of him, but there’s this TH-camr called ShadowImpact? His theory videos are really good! I’d check him out if I were you! One of his theories is that the Shades, like the angels or seele in this case, are secretly rebelling in their own way against the Heavenly Principles! With the Sustainer not letting us go when we’re a CLEAR threat to the Heavenly Principles of the world cuz we’re Descenders, Istaroth helping other nations either hide away from or separate them from the Heavenly Principles’s grasp (with the Sacred Sakura tree). The entirety of Enkanomiya and the other nations as well. And now Renova who “had her power stolen by treacherous Xbalanque” and her being “forced” to accept Capitano’s sacrifice instead of Mavuika. He raised a good question with the Captain; why did she accept his sacrifice when he’s not even the pyro archon? She could’ve EASILY refused him and demanded Mavuika’s life instead. I think they’re against the Heavenly Principles too with that in mind 🤔
I haven't heard of that creator or theory but that makes a lot of sense. I think one of my favorite theorizing channels is Ashikai, who's done some interesting topics like "what's inside the sustainers boxes" and why is the symbol from the staff of homa everywhere in the game
IIRC, if you go to the Book of Revelations realm and look behind you at the entrance, you can see what appears to be the fountain from the upside-down ruins in the Chasm.
It occurs to me that the Shades seem to each be directly/thematically associated with 2 current/recent civilizations and one lost civilization. Time: Monstadt, Inazuma, Enkanomiya. Death: Natlan/Ochcanatlan (since the former is pretty much a direct continuation of the latter), Liyue, and Tsurumi Island (due to the entire Ferryman quest, and the fan theory that Kanna Kapatcir was created by the Shade of Death). Life: Fontaine, Sumeru, Lemuria. This would probably leave Void/Space with Schneznaya, Khaenri'ah, and maybe Deshret's civilizations (though considering the Golden Slumber, that could also be Death, which would possibly ruin my theory)?
It's been years and it is still by far the most important book in the game. I think whenever the rest of the volumes for the book from Lisa's quest are added they may be about as important.
the only sussy paimon did a thing when she was shield the raiden shogun attack(when thoma use the polearm and throw at raiden) in inazuma archon quest. She mention that she is a god of protection. Maybe the other reference gods of paimon are athena and soteria
41:52 we will probably never know but it seems odd to make groups of the same statue if the statue is of a single individual. Also obviously the statues all pre-date the later days of Enkanomiya, and anything to do with their special relationship with Istaroth, which in any case wouldn't apply to the other places where these statues appear. They must have been there since the days of the Ancient Civilization. So they probably just depict Seelies or even human priests. Stuff familiar to any part of the Ancient Civilization.

2:36 The theory that the shades were around before the war with the dragons has always been assumed without evidence, but it's taken a number of hits in Natlan and recently before Natlan. This falls into 2 criticisms. The first is that the shades are not all the same and built to be dragon killers, but on the contrary they are all different and built to do things only AFTER the war is over in helping maintain the new order. The second is the power and age of the Seelie. Namely that the Seelie are incredibly powerful and they were with the Primordial One when it arrived (so there was no need to make Shades to fight - the Seelie could all fight and each one was on a level of fighting as the top dragon sovereigns). As for how Natlan adds to this consider the discussion between Ronova and Lord of the Night about the duty of a Seelie which is said (twice) to be to humans and not to serve either the Shades or even the Primordial One. Since the Seelies have a duty that precedes the PO they were not made by the PO. Had the PO made them as it made the Shades the Seelies would naturally owe their primary duty to the PO directly. Instead they owe it to humans, and as a result are allies and subordinates of the PO because of their common interests. Natlan also reinforces the idea of the Shades having "jobs" that are different and not being all created simply to fight dragons. As for the fighting strength of a pre-fall Seelie it is hard to judge but even post-fall the GoF seems to be more powerful than Deshret and Rukkhadevata/Nahida. Well this is not new in Natlan but Apep's conversation seems to treat GoF differently than the mere "gods" Deshret and Nahida whom Apep belittles as merely children of the PO. When Apep tries to excuse her failure to find FK when Deshret did manage to find FK, a humiliating defeat to such a baby as Deshret, Apep explains it as Deshret got help from the Goddess of Flowers. But that is no excuse if Apep saw the GoF as only on the same level as Deshret to begin with. Hence Apep tells us GoF is powerful beyond the gods. GoF is worthy of respect as an adversary the same as the Usurper itself.
