- To prepare for the new dragon ball game coming out in 10 days, I’m going to platinum dragon ball the breakers. This is an asymmetrical game where 7 survivors try to take down a villain called raiders. I’ll have to play a lot of both sides, especially survivor, for the platinum. A little correction about the Special Finisher:
It's not exactly random, it occurs when you Finish Off a Survivor after they had already been Finished Off (and revived) once already.
So, you knock someone for the 1st time and Finish them Off, they can be revived.
You knock them down again after that and Finish Off one more time, they're Perma-Dead if you Finish them off a Second Time
You can tell who's able to be Perma-Killed based on if their Survivor Icon has an "X" on the upper left of it, signifying they've been Finished Off once already
I had finished people off before I got it though. Can it only happen when you perma-finish someone off? I’m still happy I got it sooner than later

As far as I've seen from playing, Special Finishers ONLY happen when you PERMA-KILL someone, since they can't come back if you Finish Off them a 2nd time.
Examples of this are Cell Absorbing the Survivor WHOLE with his Tail
Super-Buu doing his Lil' Dance before eating the Survivor (he usually spits them out of his body otherwise)
Any Ginyu Force Member hitting their Signature Pose when they Perma-Kill
Frieza blowing up someone Krillin-Style
Thanks for the details about it. Maybe this might help someone else who’s going for the platinum and this trophy. Although I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go for this platinum anymore with the players left.
@@noobsnipah it's the perma kill finisher, I got all the achievements all back when we were in the first season and only had 3 raiders and 3 maps
I spent 20 hours in a single week playing this game just for the 50 raider matches achievements
Also i was stupidly lucky getting "Wanna run away? Now's your chance!" and "Miraculous Special Ultra Super Megaton PUNCH" trophies in a single match cause the raider kept going for the stm
That is lucky. It took me so many games until a raider even wanted to destroy the stm. They just ignored it most of the time

So a little fun fact about the 50 raiders matches achievment is used to be so much easier when the game was in s0-1 cause at that time we had an actual raider queue I believe the current matchmaking system was added in s2 and it slowed down the raider grind significantly
That'd make sense why they made the trophy to be 50 matches if there was originally a queue just for raider.

I got this platinum pretty easily but 99% of that is because I played on release day lol.

10:20 The Dragon Balls don't spawn with every Raider. With Raiders like Broly and Goku Black, they are automatically deactivated because in these matches, Super Transpheres spawn instead. There are sometimes matches where your team just gets really unlucky and don't find any Dragon Balls while the Raider may have some
And with the new Update/Season, Dragon Balls have a chance of being in Breakable Vases/Pots
This matchmaking was god awful. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I’d believe that about the dragon balls. There’d be matches where I’d never find one and I wouldn’t see any teammate having one. They’d be nowhere
So, something you should know is that every raider, aside from Broly and Goku Black, has Dragon Balls present in the match. Now, the reason for those two not having them is because of 2 reasons: story and super transpheres. With Broly, Frieza has a hold of them at the start of his intro. Broly also ends up having 3 different super transpheres show up for each of his levels. With Goku Black, there were no Dragon Balls at all in the future due to Piccolo and Kami being dead. Another explanation is because of the Trunks and Vegito super transpheres at levels 3 and 4 respectively

@@noobsnipah Also, another thing is that the raider could've had the other dragon balls that you were missing. That doesn't mean they did, but it's a possibility
That’s true but some games I never saw them nor any teammates had them. I doubt the raider would have all 7 and not summon shenron
@@noobsnipah That could also be the case, but it's smarter to save them up until the endgame rather than whenever. But it's also safer to not have a bunch on you and get downed, as, as you mentioned, it would just be a free win for the raider
Oof this one took me 120 hours back in 2022, that 2 minute wait time has never been accurate

You played that much? I think I was around survivor level 60 when I got the platinum.
I don't know what the difference is between my game and your game, but every time I go into breakers, I get a max of 4-5 minutes and a minimum of one minute of waiting.
This is recently you're talking about? I would've saved so much time if didn't take an anime episode worth of time to find a game.
@@noobsnipah yes in fact I loaded a game right now to see the time. and I had to wait four and a half minutes. I can only think it's the region.

I remember when it came out season 2 was delayed for a while. That probably had a negative effect. By this point the game is on its last breath.
All 7 Dragon balls always spawn but sometimes they spawn in random detroyable objects
They must be hella hidden cause some games I’d never find one and my teammates wouldn’t have any
Ya you pretty much have to pray to find a dragon radar or bring babas ability to sense dragon balls but every match will have all 7 just some are in breakable items like barrels boxes and even the crystals in the icy areas.
That’s just trolling to have them in breakable objects. You’d never find them without the radar

I actually already did that before I started this channel. Only dbz games I haven’t platinumed is battle of Z, ultímate tenkaichi, and budokai HD collection. I might do the budokai collection at some point.
