As a Londoner I can safely say this is one of the most amazing representations I have ever seen of the city I call home. It shows the amazing breadth of different people, cultures and stories that this place holds, it's almost overwhelming to watch but that's exactly how London feels at times. I can also appreciate the amount of time this has been shot over, looking at how the London landscape has changed over the years, this work has taken you a very long time, your patience to create a story is insane. It has shown me different sides of London and I have dreamed to work on a video piece for this city, this has just boosted that dream up a few notches. Really incredible work, Oliver and I'm sure it will get the recognition it and yourself deserve.
This is an incredible video, but I feel it should be titled 'London' rather than 'Londoner'. For 90% of the people born and raised in London this video isn't really relatable, too much central London. Coming from a guy who grew up in Kilburn. Amazing photography and editing though, I do appreciate artistic value of the video.
This was a really well made video, but it makes me feel a little uncomfortable. I don't want to give unnecessary criticism because it is a great piece of editing, however as someone who grew up in London, a lot seems to be missed when people think of what this city is like. There is an absence of any council estate, of any school - no Chicken shop, greasy spoon, bus stop or Kebab shop. I think for me, this video fails to show that London is somewhere that people grow up in - many of whom are working class. I also think that it is interesting that this video shows why London is such an amazing city - but for a lot of people that grew up in London, much of what is highlighted here is just not a part of their experience. This is I think most obvious when the video contains mostly young professional 20-30 somethings in the city being filmed as the ones experiencing - where those that are not in that category are something to be 'experienced' - an aspect of the eccentric or different that entertains those that come to visit, stay, work - and eventually leave. I didn't want to be so negative - sorry :) I think it just kind of hit a note with me and made me reflect that a lot of what I think makes London so interesting is the mix of cultures, but diversity is lost when age and class factor in to what is visible. It was a really well made video and I look forward to checking out your other content. - R²

Wow...what a city and the video is doing equal justice to it...Hats of to you man for such a mesmerising video. All I can say is LONDON is the capital of Europe. It only comes next to NEW YORK CITY.
If only. Living in real London is all about dingy neighbourhoods, crappy infrastructure and sociality contrained by the city's size. Hardly anyone workes in the City and then kayaks in spare time. The video is great, and shows some of the excitement of the city's landmarks condensed, but it is that very image that is masking reality of London, which often feels like a medieval dump turned automated stable, and where sheer everyday means a lot of work.

Love love LOVE this video! When hearing the "please mind the gap" it instantly put a smile on my face, been away from London for too long and made me feel so nostalgic - so excited to go back! This video deserves all the likes it can get!
This video tingled every one of my senses I’ve experienced there
I've lived in London for all 32 of my years and this is fantastic. One thing though, Londoners never smile at one another haha
This is a fantastic video, excellent work and perspective! Love creative talent coming straight from our city 🙌
This absolutely incredible and impossible to hope to remake without at least a hundreds of hours in front of us,thank you and well done, I can feel the emotions several times viewing in loop
Wow...what a city and the video is doing equal justice to it...Hats of to you man for such a mesmerising video. All I can say is LONDON is the capital of Europe. It only comes next to NEW YORK CITY.
Yep, London is in Europe... nice try!
New York is a dump. Trash on the ground, outdated subways, incredibly rude people.
Dubai > Shanghai > Tokyo > London > Lagos > New York
Alright maybe I might be over-exaggerating...
Shanghai shouldn't be where it is. London > Shanghai
@@albertocrescini2076 😂😁 I just wanted to say that London is the most advanced city in entire Europe.
I am here from hearing your interview on London Focus on London Live TV channel.
Am glad I did.incredible piece of work.
Just shut up and appreciate the video. Every city feels like that when you live in it.
John Buffalo I am 97 - So you are stupid and you live outside the actual city.
John Buffalo I am 97 - You can shut up as well! Why can’t you just appreciate the city for what it is?
London's a fucking dump. Go somewhere else in England but just make sure you don't go to the dive that is London.
@@MrLovetrash i'm 47 i live in the city and it is GREAT - you're whinging old fool. 97 yrs olds don't belong in a city anyway, retire to the country where the pace of life is more slower for you.
for 6 minutes I felt I'm in LONDON..... Incredible!....👌👌👌
This is nothing like living in actual London, the surrounding boroughs where Londoners actual live and can afford.
I'm not sure what you mean by that, considering that everyone who lives in Central London is obviously still a Londoner, and alot of people live there, so this video does represent actual London.
@@ifb6368 Central Londoners are a _tiny_ minority of Londoners, and even many of us who work there (like me 🙋🏾) don't live there bc it's far too expensive.
This video is breathtaking, but this is really London for people with 6 figure salaries, or worse, tourists.
E.g. Newham, Hackney, Lewisham, Croydon, Peckham

It's such a beautiful video and great edit!
I LOVE LONDON, BEST CITY IN THE WORLD. (not biased at all because of living here) ;) ;)
Hear hear
The bad thing: montage is sometimes weak.
The good things: everything else is spot on.
God, I so want to visit London!
Thank you, dear Oliver, for the incredible feeling of city you cherished and so generously shared with us.
It is an amazing omaj to such a wonderful city!
