The best thing that I have found at Goodwill was an antique pair of sunglasses in the original fancy hinged box. The lenses were very dark blue and glass. Ok, here's the best thing...... they were Gucci and absolutely marvelous. They looked like they were worn by Audrey Hepburn in 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'. I sold them for $625⁰⁰ plus shipping. Oh yeah, I paid $2⁰⁰ for them.

Just want y’all to know that since I saw the video of y’all finding all the Lululemon, I have found Lulu each thrift trip since then! 7 in one week…most people sell their Lulu on fb marketplace in my area so it’s super exciting! I like to think it was good luck :)
The Levi's jacket used to be sold not faded or distressed they were a dark blue and thick like the jeans and they were worn for years to get to that color. Later on is when they started selling them distressed.
You are right about them not catching everything. With the shortage of workers and the volume of donations coming in right now a lot of good stuff gets missed. I found over $110 work of Pyrex for just under $9. Usually that is in the higher priced specialty section. I found several pieces in mint condition within 10 minutes of browsing. I was in the area again the next day and stopped in again. I found another piece of it that wasn’t there the day before. It was $2 and was the most valuable of all the pieces I found.
I saw a post on a thrifting page today on fb that goodwill managers were handing out a list of things to pull to send to online was a full page of name brands they had 3 different tiers ie pulling everything new with tags
Omg i never knew my grateful dead shirts fould be worth that much!! I have 5 drawers full of them and they all still look new!!!!! I followed them for over a year hoingto every show and got a shirt at every show!!❤
Did Matt's boots fit? I love how Matt doesn't correct you Kayla he just gently suggests when you said $1.99 for the plushies. He said they may have dropped to 99 cents. That is so refreshing and polite.

Kayla, it drives me crazy to see you carry around your wallet, keys etc. Glad to see you with the Fanny pack worn cross shouldered BUT the KEYS….(are used to work as a bus driver so I had to go in and out of work six times a day, so digging for keys in the hot in bad weather in a bag was a aggravation! Simple and incredibly useful idea was to attach a Caribeener Clip.(clip with spring hinge, get a better one) you can then clip your keys to the ring of a handbag inside or outside/belt loop/even hook it over your shirt neck. Assuring that your keys are secure and easy to find! You can even hook a tiny wallet with a ring to it. In the video I’m watching today you’re wearing a fanny pack over your shoulder holding your wallet, etc. and phone. Do you how many times I put my phone down on the back of my car and it fell off . in driveway or I forgot it? One I ran over in the driveway at night, total loss. Another fell off my car as I drove out my driveway crack the screen. I also wonder why you don’t carry a few flat square, thin bubble wrap, or mesh bag or something to carry stuff then went garage saling? So many times I see you packing glass stuff in the back and a simple flat piece of bubble wrap or even paper would protect them. LOL love watching your channel. Once we were garage saling and my brother ran over a speed bump which he should’ve seen but blamed me when I broke something he bought a Goodwill using my directions (but not his driving lol).
I think the light weight wood is probably Basswood. It comes from the Linden tree, and it’s found around Missouri and Nebraska all along that area it could also be white walnut, but most likely it’s Basswood. As always, I love your videos. Can’t wait for the next one.😊

I used to be one of those people who just loaded up an entire car full of really good items that built up in my home and took them to Goodwill. Since finding your channel I question EVERYTHING I am getting rid of! I now have an ebay page and am going to start selling some of the items during my garage cleanout out which will take at least a year to get through. The starter pullover, the Disney crew neck and Vtg Levi’s jacket were all good finds but my favorite has to be the San Diego Panda youth crew neck from 99’ 🔥 I would’ve definitely grabbed that for my daughter.

I had those exact Guess jeans back in 1985 it was when I was in high school and I remember saving up my money to buy them. I think I paid around $70 for them . I would not pay that amount for a pair of jeans now !!! 😳🙄can you imagine how much that would be in today’s money. I definitely grew wiser as I got older, but back then it was all about the name brands and making sure that the tags showed so everybody knew you spent or should I say wasted your hard-earned money on them. Ha ha ha ha ha
I had to have all the Guess clothes back in the late 80's early 90's when I was in middle school 😂 I remember asking my mom to get them at our local mall and she was like heck no I'm not paying that much for any of that. So we would take trips to an outlet mall in VA, and then I got to stock up, lol. Oh my, and when Tj Maxx opened up close to our house, we used to put Guess clothing on Layaway, and I would pitch in all my allowance money every week to help pay them off. It's crazy to think how expensive all that was back then 😮 even at the discount and outlet
Matt is so low key polite and thoughtful, not just with Kayla but with everyone. “Let’s pull the cart forward a little bit”. What a keeper.

IMO the sweater with the trees & cabin is at least worth $80-$100. Seriously, a hand knitted sweater should be worth a lot more than machine made!
Teddy Ruxpin brings back memories. My brother had to play it every night to fall asleep. I can still hear it 🤦♀️😂
While you were checking out the dog collars all I could focus on was that amazing wooden serving set aside of you.
Wasn’t it stunning?! It was a teak monkey pod! Sadly it was priced at $30 and they only sell for $60-80
I was going to comment the same about missing the monkey pod serving set. Sold’s aren’t bad at $60-$80 if could have gotten at a better price.
I’m a wood carver and the most used wood for carving is basswood. It holds features well, is easy to work with, and takes paint well.

Basswood yes, but I believe pieces like this are mass produced with a composite type of material.

Guys - Keep you eyes open for any Studio Pottery - it 's a subject completely missed by 99.9% of people but you can be walking past a brown jug and never know it's a very collectable piece of art worth a few hundred dollars.
Kurt adler tree Topper! Balsa wood is the cat
Exactly. Just like the Gloria Vanderbilt jeans Era. 80's girl here too. 😊

People have said basswood. But balsa wood is extremely light and super easy to carve also . It is super soft and easy to sink a fingernail into
The tray you picked up is the prayer tower on the campus of Oral Robert’s University in Tulsa.
