Much respect for ur loyalty to ur FG2, i got a 07 FG2 as well with almost full bolt-on..just missing headers and it has a street tune for flashpro..makes alot of difference!! Subbed!!
headers will make more of a difference as well if you upgrade it

good bang for buck header. you will enjoy it. your car will sound louder though (if youre ok with it)
i got a skunk2 70mm exhaust...the drone is sort of killing me..xD maybe ill go PLM header instead?
any header will make your car sound louder/deeper. if you want quiet change the exhaust to something more lowkey. Im running the q300 on my 9th

A little advise. Unless its a pretty well sorted basemap you really shouldn't be doing full pulls. Light daily driving needs to be done first to tune safe part throttle fuel trims

what numbers would you see in a 1/4 with just flashing it? I'm aware of people getting anything from high 14s low 15s with stock, also of course depends on the driver.

Roice Natividad yea,i just have to buy a catback exhaust system,then ima save up for the flashpro.i'm thinking of going with the Tsudo S2 70mm Catback exhaust..hopefully it sounds good and gives it some decent Pony Power 😁
go with vibrant or if you want a nice deep loud tone go with skunk 2 76mm exhaust the best sounding one IMO but a little loud.
Active EJ yea i agree,the skunk2 megapower exhaust is the best sounding exhaust out now.i was thinking of getting the 70mm skunk 2 but $500 seema alil too much bro,when i can get the same sound and quality,only cheaper by buying the Tsudo S2 exhaust,which is also a 70mm catback and it seriously is a skunk2 megapower only it has a different name and price.

I've seen people do throttle body upgrade, short air intake and upgrade their exhaust but no Hondata...WTF? You start with Hondata and then the upgrades. Noobs. If you can't change tuning then all those bolt ons mean nothing

bro i need your help. . i wanna tune my car but i wanna tune by my self . here in new york i way to spense to tune a car . so i just intall hondata flash pro to my pc . and install the basemap that i have in my car . the mods that i had installed . i don't have to touch nothings else . for example. calibration ..only thw basemap?
flowers contact VIT, just pay for the tune! Get hondata and get it tuned because you will mess something up if you don't know what you're doing!
Dont do it on ur own basemaps will run ok but its not a perm , im ny aswell when api tuning 450 great tuner took hes time explain everything just spend 450 bro might save u thousands on a fuckup down the road

I see them usually sell for 450-500 used and unlocked! And as long as it’s a reputable seller and it’s unlocked then you should be good!

I have a Honda Civic si 8th gen and my car takes off way faster then when he used the tunes so idk if I should buy it or not cuz it might be already tuned
it would be impossible for it to be tuned, i learned this today. If it was tuned with hondata before you bought it then you will still have it in the car. And if it was tuned and the guy wanted to sell the hondata you would need to put the car back to stock to be able to unlock the hondata and sell it with out scamming other people, a lot of people do that

I got a few questions bro! I am looking into buying hondata for my 8th gen as well. But im not sure if its okay to drive around without a tune. I have an intake, throttle body spacer, and an exhaust. When I get it whats the first things I need to do other than pair it up with my car??

I have a k20/24 frank swap on my 08 si due to me blowing my k20 motor a while back and I'm running it without a tune, I also have a Q300 and skunk 2 CAI I know I need hondata but other than vit viper is there a base tune that I can run or do I need a custom one, thanks

Antoni Hughes Wtf are you talking about? You need to be good with computers to work on cars? No you don't. You need to be good with a computer to be able to tune, and even that is debatable. As long as you know how to use the tuning program and know what you're doing, you're fine.

You can usually resell them for $100 under retail since they don't get "abused" like a mechanical aftermarket part would (used header/exhaust/cams, etc). Not bad.
Good point. However, most listings i find are often maybe only $20 to $40 under retail
