I like the concept, but 10 degrees is far too coarse of an adjustment. Nearly everyone falls somewhere between 15 degrees forward or backwards cant, so it really only provides 3-4 usable settings. From shooting USPSA getting the cant just right makes a big difference in draw consistency. It needs more like 2 degrees max indexing to be useful for optimizing holster position.
Blade Tech consistently delivers exceptional products. This innovative device represents a significant advancement in the industry, surpassing the capabilities of alternative solutions.
Increase the index frequency by 2x and slim it down. A third smaller version would be welcome as well. Some different low profile 1.5" or 2" belt mount options also, please. Tek loks are too bulky for civilian use.
On 11/23/2022 just 5 days later after purchase I got an email from them asking me to dispose and discontinued use of my 360 insert disks and quick connect system due to some failure I will make a video later on this week. Email also said they will send me a free replacement shortly other than that I guess it's ok. I was like you guys here looking for any real life test on this product couldn't find any when I get the new ones I will test these untill they break
Where are the links for magazine pouches. Some days I feel like carrying a 45 and others a 9mm. Quick change mag pouches would be fantastic to facilitate that. Links pleaee
I bought two different versions of these. One for my molle vest and the one that would attach to my duty belt. The issue with the one tek mount is if your wearing say a safelife defense belt that is a little bit thicker. It won’t work because it won’t fit. You won’t even be able to close the clasp to secure it to your belt. That’s the only downfall I see with this system. The one on my molle vest is perfect for my Taser mount.
I believe they make attachments for Blackhawk and Safariland holsters. I'm guessing if the holster you have in mind has one of those mounting patterns ans screw depth, in theory, it should work.
It looks great and gives the cant adjustment I've always wanted. I'm a little concerned though, as lip service is paid to the strength of the mount against a grab on the website and in this video, but it hasn't been demonstrated. I need to see it pass the Safariland Level 1 retention test (5 sec snatch and grab attempt by an adversary) before I can pull the trigger on buying one. Any LE agency is going to require the same before they approve this for duty. I encourage Blade-Tech to release a video of this test.
Same can be said about the safariland qls. I think these ideas are cool but for mounting a duty pistol, probably more for convenience. I have a setup for my taser and it seems to be doing okay. The little lever that locks it in place, hasn't been moved unless I move it.
I ordered mine today.
cant wait to try it myself

I guess this is what became of the old Roto-Lok system, quite an improvement :)

Maybe that's why i can't find them anywhere.
Did you ever get the replacement or get the chance to test the strength of the disc and receiver?
@CALIFOR2A Sooo one year later and still no video on your findings....................................
Dude please make a video for this, we are waiting for you.

This is straight false, I have multiple Tek-Lonks on my safe life belt locked safely into place.

How does the Tek-Mount attach to different holsters?

@@BladeTechHolsters You came through and now I will order this.
Is this IDPA Legal?
I’m buying this
From an LE perspective, it is kind of concerning how easily it detaches from the mount.
