Punch: "Here comes Lobonte on the outside (deep inhale) they get to the triolval rmember the start finish line is here" DJ: "he gets it" Damn the pure awesome excitement of the commentary is absolutely riveting. Its so exciting that Punch has to inhale in mid sentence.
great to see bobby in victory lane! that last move sums up how smart of a driver he's always been. my favorite driver and one of the classiest and most humble guys out there. it's a shame he isn't in the mix in the nextel cup anymore though.
I hope Bobby can hit victory lane one more time before he hangs it up. He's always been one of the guys you can't help but like no matter who your favorite is.
Bobby Is and always will be my favorite driver and let him be remembered as a good sported and genuinely kind driver who cared more about his team than that of himself. Bobby win this year in the 47! Labonte fans have faith in you!
I've always been a Bobby Labonte fan since 1997. I would have liked to see the telemetry on the pass. I very much doubt Tony lifted. Awesome patience Bobby had. 🙂
i didnt need to hear this crappy call, i was down by the start finish line listening to the sound of the cars and the MRN car over the PA system. awesome race man
@skatahkickflip I agree, he has not had the confidence and in my opinion , crew skill that he had while at Gibbs. I like JTG and all that they are doing but they are missing this spark with Bobby and I am still eagerly waiting for the day that Bobby will surpass and surprise everyone with a sudden victory and make at least a final parting name for himself before his retiring in a few years. But a 14th place finish at the 500 this year, not a bad start. Thumbs up for Bobby 2012!
Yeah he is the best- thank god he isnt a hendrick sell out Like other drivers- ha. He has given crappy petty enterprises better finishes than they have seen in years!
that commentator [unknown name] can never call a good finish.. he cant get his voice that high and WTF instaed of "labonte got him labonte wins!" he says "remeber the start finish line is here" shulda said that a lap b4
Oh god ESPN has the worst commentary ever. Imagine Darrel Waltrip and Larry Mac commentating this. That would've been epic
Punch: "Here comes Lobonte on the outside (deep inhale) they get to the triolval rmember the start finish line is here"
DJ: "he gets it"

I was there and the crowd was going crazy. Everyone was happy to see him win again.
We’re you there the next day when Gordon won 😂
@@Jeffgordonfan24hesthegoat I was. I was listening on the scanner and laughing and loving it. It was a great weekend of racing.
I love how Tony is just Jazzed for Bobby beating him on the last lap.
labonnte rocks always favorite driver

one of the best finishes ever in nascar
If Bobby would be at the right place at the right time he could do this again.
Bobby Is and always will be my favorite driver and let him be remembered as a good sported and genuinely kind driver who cared more about his team than that of himself. Bobby win this year in the 47! Labonte fans have faith in you!
Hell yeah Bobby Labonte!
Makes up for charlotte 😂
I was there as a kid, i remember going crazy over the finish
"He gets it."
i love bobby labonte even though hes not good any more ill always root for him!!!
i was really excited when bobby won!
You will never be able to top Ken Squier and David Hobbs. The ultimate duo in all of motor racing.
I've always been a Bobby Labonte fan since 1997. I would have liked to see the telemetry on the pass. I very much doubt Tony lifted. Awesome patience Bobby had. 🙂
Man that's great. I hope he wins a race soon.
01:52 you ran outta time man.
It makes me happy seeing how graceful Tony Stewart was in the post-race interview.
these guys are biased against labonte, but personally, he is still my favourite driver. fourth place at daytona this year too!
jesus, ESPN/ABC really knows how to fuck up a good finish
he is my favorite driver....he needs to get a new team though
I loved how the onboards made the cars sound like buses.
Bobby Labonte has a good car this year 4th at daytona and 7th at new hampshire come on Bobby you can get a win this year #47 to victory lane
NASCAR will never see crowds like this again! And not because of COVID! Don’t believe me look what happened to cart a& Indy
YAY!!!! go bobby!!
damn straight
Hopefully Bobby will bring JTG motorsports into the light
This was the race where two-car tandem racing was born.
good race
I would kill to see Bobby in victory lane in Cup again.
i didnt need to hear this crappy call, i was down by the start finish line listening to the sound of the cars and the MRN car over the PA system. awesome race man
2:04 denied
they come to the tri-oval remember the start finish line is here, and he gets it...um im sorry, but that was the worst commentating i have ever heard!
Jerry Punch: hEre comes Bobby Labonte (inhale) rememberthestartfinishlineisallthewa-
@JMolKoz20791 4th at Daytona! great to see him back in a decent ride
Any video on Bobbys` Cup win at `Dega `97 or`98? Can`t find any.
@dolphinmagic24fan That wasn't made till about 2009 when Denny would push everybody
@skatahkickflip I agree, he has not had the confidence and in my opinion , crew skill that he had while at Gibbs. yup yup. & in 2011 Bobby Labonte WILL go back to victory lane & he WILL make the chase. that 47 team means business.
Me too.
The finish was great, but goddamnit Jerry Punch, we know where the fuckin' finish line is at! Not all race fans are new to the damn sport!
So much apathy for that finish from the commentators
I wish NASCAR would bring back single file restarts for super speedways.
***** Why do you say that?
That could still happen with single file restarts
oh and ESPN/ABC sucks, it fox was covering this race, they would be screaming about the finish
ya ESPN we know where the f'in line is.
@skatahkickflip Oh yes i do, I will always remember him winning it all in 2000. Never understood y Gibbs dropped him.
Reminisce Of The 2005 Coca Cola 600!!!!!
great call by jerry punch give the man a break
haha that was somthing to c
Does anybody think Tony lifted? 🙂
Sure is a shame he chose to drive for the Pettys, thats a curse on any driver's career. He would have ben better off retiring in 2003
thats saying something..truw though
Yeah he is the best- thank god he isnt a hendrick sell out Like other drivers- ha. He has given crappy petty enterprises better finishes than they have seen in years!
lol coca cola
ESPN is terrible. Compare their broadcast to fox...there is no contest. Great race for Bobby.
Holy god that call was so boring!! And remember the start finish line and he gets it. UGHHH
he is kinda of on petty again though
bill weber does a better job than jerry punch...
that commentator [unknown name] can never call a good finish.. he cant get his voice that high and WTF instaed of "labonte got him labonte wins!" he says "remeber the start finish line is here" shulda said that a lap b4
The tv analyst made a great finish really boring. Very Boring. Jerry Punch is a good pit reporter not commentator.
