(Note: This is the title track of Tremonti's 4th album. The album was a concept album that tells a Sci-Fi story involving a dystopian future and intelligent machines so a lot of the song lyrics have to be understood in that context. The album was accompanied by a full length novel co-written by Mark Tremonti (which is currently hard to find, I've been trying). The song Desolation is also from this album. The other note about this album is that it seems to be the only Tremonti album that some of the songs get blocked on TH-cam, but not all of the songs for some reason.)

Tremonti's talent is just off the charts... and yes that book is out of stock everywhere. I didn't buy it when it came out and now I regret it. Great reaction Fil!

They're in the studio working on Tremonti's 6th album. I know from Instagram that they're done with the drums now. So, hopefully, in a few months, we will have a new album for you to add to the discography that is Tremonti.

Can you please save your analysis until mostly AFTER the song? Only playing a few seconds of a song then going on for minutes is quite jarring.
Mark wrote a book for this album, each song ties in with the story, so the songs are really more than songs, they are stories.
This song is about the bio-mechanical beings called "Vessels" from the book that are created and sold to humans for a variety of purposes, customized to the requirements of the client. There is a line of them that has issues where they begin to decay after a time. Just for some more specific context.
The main character basically gets one to replace his deceased wife as his companion, which is why there is a tone of love...
