    It looks like the track was sprayed with grease!

    • @glyphs3
      @glyphs3 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It's traction compound plus the track has a "scrapper" that make the lanes super smooth and shiny. There's no grease out the otherwise they would be sliding at the hit. A lot of times it's tire shake on one wheel which loses grip and the other tire hooks up and causes the violent turn into the wall. One had a tire failure. Lots if great cars damaged.

      I'm not an expert, just rabid fan for 60+ years. Too cold? Bad track bite application / touch-ups, They ruined their own conditions, track should have immediately been closed. it slips and grabs without reason. I would put the car on the trailer and thank them for wasting my time.

    • @Nitedontdie
      @Nitedontdie 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheUprightLuthier-1959 Most of these wrecks are actually caused by insane tire shake. You can see it in some of the shots, they're shaking so violently that the tires are folding with overlap. The ones where people are losing traction off the line is a setup error, not a track error, as in most cases the car in the other lane hooks perfectly fine. If the tire pressures are too high or suspension has no travel in the rear or front, this can quite often cause the tires to simply not bite.

    Is it really worth it to hang fuel cell on nose? I mean really...1.5 gallons,a light tank,small pump & some line. 15-20 lbs ud need to put up there if u moved tank to rear. Big whoop. Itd save alot of cars from burning down. Just 1 guys opinion that cant b changed

      No most likely tire shake on one wheel while the other one hooks up causing the violent turn into the wall. OR a broken axle.

    Step#1 finish the race. Step #2: focus on winning. in my world a wreck (DNF) was equally as bad as losing! Now I use the same technique with my kids and it works really well. I feel like the Guy has a weight/balance & setup issue but he’s just going out trying to win instead of finishing the race. Which is very easy to do. I raced from 4- 25. luckily I had my parents, they would tell me the truth. if I got ahead of my chain.

    That place must smell like burned rubber all year round, I'm getting a whiff of it just watching in my home.
    why does the track look wet, are all these after a shower or do they hose down the track to make it a bit more challenging.
    7:40 did he even hit anything, Looks like he clipped it, lost a quarter panel and the rest of the right side of the car just followed.
    I like the extinguishers along the side of the track, no matter where a car stops there is one 10 feet away.
    A Expensive Hobby for sure.
