Never accept the teachings of preachers/teachers just because of credentials and notoriety, always research their history and as any excellent reliable person who teaches the Bible says, "never take my word for what I tell you search the Scriptures to see if it is truth......Acts 17:11 backs this, even those who sat under Paul proclaimed this very command and obeyed. No preacher/teacher is 1005 correct on doctrine there is always a bit of their fleshly opinions within the teaching and then we must according to Scriptures see if is heretical. Such as "Replacement Theology" which is heretical. Read Romans 9-11. God has never rejected Israel, He will fulfill every promise, His covenant to the Jews.
Piper says he chose that book, too funny to hear a deterministic calvanist say that he chose something and then gives a reason, contradiction after contradiction, if it wasn't so heartbreaking the tremendous lie of calvanism, it would be funny.
Nancy, there is no such thing as a female Bible teacher for adult men and women in the church anywhere in scripture. You can disciple other women and children using scripture as a reference. But it is the man’s responsibility to teach his wife, not other women!!

J. Piper is not the Protestant Pope; Christians need to keep all things in perspective.
Why is she teaching a mixed congregation..? I am surprised at this.Do American Reformed churches allow women teachers then?

It isn't a congregation, per se. It's a conference, therefore the Biblical rule simply doesn't apply here.

Because it's a woman's conference so makes sense to have a woman on stage. Also, seems like its John Piper doing the teaching.
