Amazing.. my mom's an opera singer and I grew up listening to pop singers trying to be true vocal specialists, but very few, and I mean very few are talented and well trained.. well, the members of Mamamoo is one of the few.. I .. I'm a Moomoo now.

Namyu big mama , 4 men and soul star are all in the kpop group. Do you mean kpop dance groups ? Because all kpop is is Korean Popular music. Even now 4 men's baby baby is one of the most popular songs in korea as can be seen by how many artists have covered it.

My favourite of all Mamamoo's Immortal Song performance. Another trot song rearranged to something simply soulful and passionate, with the subtitles the song was just so beautiful. Just their voices and the harmonies, I'm like the old guy at 2:48 all the time. Thank you Mamamoo for debuting. And KBS please invite them to Immortal Song again please

They had debuted not even an year ago at the time of this performance, and yet, it looks like they effortlessly put the audience in a trance. Let's face it, these ladies are in a league of their own in K-Pop. 3 powerhouse vocalists and a dynamic rapper. No group crushes it the way these ladies do it on these kind of live (really live) performances and it can't be disputed. This is pure talent on display here. Why they don't have millions of views amazes me.

Well moonbyul isn't as talented as her her grp members but just check out ten nights or snow and you'll know that after hwasa, or even in the same level as her, she can beautifully portray emotions through her voice. This is also evident in the fact that you see how moonbyul's rap keep getting slower as they become an older group. Mr. Ambiguous had a much faster rap as compared to any that she has done in their recent songs. And no, this is not because of her lacking talent in fast rapping, but that she realized that she wanted to do a different kind of rap, focusing on the emotions more than the pace

I just want to give a shout out to their three back-up singers (I think it's the same girls for all their Immortal Song performances?) If I were them, I might feel a bit overlooked and overshadowed, but actually they're a big part of making those background harmonies and vocals sound so good, so props! It definitely makes a huge difference in quality to have a live band and human background vocalists rather than a back track...
I agree they are great. It would be nice if KBS would let them sing solo on one show. Competition between the back ups
they dont sing much cuj the mamamoo themself are the harmonizer....the back v are just sing some "uhuh ahah" there u can see them at the back not singing most of the time ....swaying looking down. they sure do makes it better but itr not that much to let them compete against each other

upon second listen it is solar, but she doesn't hold the note for very long. also the sax is playing the same note suspended simultaneously so it kinda blends together

+Deep Wang When the person above commented they had just released Um Oh Ah Yeh and were nowhere near as recognized as they are now. A lot of people knew of them but they didn't have a decent Korean/international fandom yet. It took them performing the whole of last year at events and festivals into this year, pre-releases and You're the Best for things to truly kick off for them.
***** Mamamoo weren't that well known before. Its was hard for us intl fans to see performances but now they are regulars everywhere!
Fast forward 2 years and their popularity and recognition are insane now. I'm a proud moo :')

2:05, 3:00, 4:13 Wheein didn't get the flashy stuff like Solar and Hwasa, but her soulful voice was what truly tied this performance together, and conveyed the song's meaning so beautifully. She was the best in the performance for me!
2:15, 3:33, 3:54 Hwasa's falsettos and growling low notes got a reaction out of me each time:D This girl DEFINITELY knows how to make an impression.
