    I am 72 years old and a average golfer. I am learning your system , the results are amazing. I have lower my handy cap 6 to 7 strokes in 5 weeks. I am enjoying playing golf more. My ball is on target . Thank you very much!!!

    Thx Mr. Broderick, I am still trying to get it. I went to the range yesterday and tried putting my right index finger down the club shaft, and for the first time ever I felt the resistance on that finger in the back swing, I was hitting the best 7 irons ever, carrying around 165 while it was 33degrees outside!! Wish I had an indoor simulator so I could continue practicing.

    As fascinating as it is informative! Thanks, Michael. I am enthused by your describing the “welded wrists”. About a month ago I began experimenting with it. My grip is ten-finger but neutral. My wrists are preset in Impact position. I hold this position through my swing and - voila! - the ball flies long and straight. It has actually cured many of the ball flight issues I had. I’ve made a couple of other changes I will tell you about later, but one of them is arm extension at address. Thanks again, Michael. Well done.

    Your usual great vid. Thanks again. They’re like Christmas presents! I’m working on mimicking Lee and feel like I’m doing a good job in the living room, 😊but go out in the yard and try to hit a plastic ball and it’s a different story.😩 I’m going to try doing a lot of no look swings and also try not to focus on the ball or focus in front of or behind the ball when I swing and see if I can take my living room swing out to the back yard. Wish me luck!

    You have a valid point. Unfortunately you go through complexity to find simplicity. I've tried it the other way in lessons and it doesn't resonate.

    Thanks.

    I've been trying C-motion for a few months practicing almost daily (I am 67 yoa and retired). Started golf 4 years ago- HCP 30. I've seen almost all your videos many times. In theory they have given me more understanding of what I should do . So far I have had only small improvements in distance, and consitency as compared to earlier. My problem in terms of symptoms have always been a bent lead arm at impact and because of this losing lots of power and consistency, Now I try to use the no-look dril and to stay as relaxed as possible in my hands, wrists, arms and shoulders and let the centrifugal forces straighten the arms. Iy works quite well in periods at the range and I hit the ball straight about the same distance as before without much effort, Other periods I lose it completely and then I try some other of your tweaks and find it again. On and off all the time.
    I have not heard ypu talk much about grip-pressure. How much grip-pressure do you have at setup and impact?. I understand you don't use "firm wrists . What do uou usually tell your students about grip-pressure and relaxation?

    • @michaelbroderick
      @michaelbroderick  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Erik Forsberg very good question. I prefer no tension anywhere. I tend to slap through a strike. I'm 3 to start out of 10 and relaxed everywhere. Heavy arms I call it.
      At strike I'm 10 because the forces are so great I have to hang on......
      Lee is mid range but can grip 10 but then be relaxed arms.....
      That works too...
      In fact I can grab with all sorts of crazy grips and hit straight and long so I don't stress it....I demo that in lessons. I do however prefer the rt hand under grip....
      Longer hitters prefer that...
      I am big on control of the face. That's big. Without it all else is lost.

    Turning the left foot counter clock wise with spikes even soft spikes is very difficult for me but unless address incorporates a left foot turned very open this foot position at follow through requires some left foot twisting which causes ,me for one ,a balance problem.

    Thank you Michael. I would suggest the vast majority of golfers are ball bound. We can swing with any other implement. Put a golf club and ball in front of us and bingo, we freeze. Thank you 🙏

      Great Par the no look drills are great for curing that. Once there's a little success it starts to reinforce you can do it. More like how we learn as children. It also heightens our other senses so we are more aware. Lee and I call it being hyper aware. That's when in that state you start to do some remarkable feats. Hitting to targets and such.

      deeban shajahan Since the premise is all the swing is the same and a ball goes right what is that telling you? How do we use our awareness to change that outcome? If a ball goes right or left where is the face pointed?

      Self taught through study and experimentation. I was lucky enough quite some time back to have access to my own course through a work project I did. So after work I decided I was going to wade through all the nonsense once and for all.

    Your method sounds a lot like the “hitting procedure” discussed in The Golfing Machine by Homer Kelly, Yours seems easier to understand. Dorsi- flexion is the same as a bent left wrist at impact. Am I thinking correctly?

    • @michaelbroderick
      @michaelbroderick  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      scunningham72 no lookup dorsiflexion wrist. Also palmer flexion.
      Right is dorsiflexed. Left would be palmer flexion just before impact.

    Thank you Michael... tried this on the range last night with 3 jumbo buckets of balls. So easy to make the ball move. Was not certain where I was getting the occasional hook.... so I was testing different grip methods and shoulder alignment at impact. Do you try to keep your shoulders closed or square at impact when you get to the stall point?

    • @michaelbroderick
      @michaelbroderick  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Luis Juarez watch the first minute of this video. How are the shoulders aligned. Awareness! Let me know what you see.

    • @michaelbroderick
      @michaelbroderick  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      BTW it's a hook is simply the face closed at impact. That's all. Use that awareness to keep the face square. Not backswing or shoulders....be aware of the face!
