Legaia 2: Duel Saga, known as Legaia: Duel Saga (レガイア デュエルサーガ) in Japan, is a PlayStation 2 action role-playing game and a sequel to Legend of Legaia, developed by Prokion. It was released in Japan, and in North America and Europe by Fresh Games. Although it the 2nd game in the Legaia series, just like most Final Fantasy sequels, it has nothing to do with the first game of the series, though there are some Easter eggs to be found.

I played a lot the first Legend of Legaia but I'm kinda new in Legend of Legaia 2.

I gotta say they are really tough, it makes me appreciate the good fight against them in the game series

In Legaia 1 the world was almost in a point of no return and humanity had to hide to not face complete extinction, so the tone in that game was really serious and dark.
Im afraid Legaia 2 have too much silly characters, i cant take the plot serious.

While I like Elliott and Marienne, I do agree that the story could have benefited greatly from a more present sense of dread, whether that be through more imposing enemies or what not. Avalon and Velna were cool, but with the other main enemies being Doplin, slug monsters, and knights that talk too much, the situation feels underwhelming compared to taking on the henchmen of the Mist in the first game.
