Modpack from Matharu includes vast variety of changes and improvements such is HD reflections, map changes, beta Heads Up Display and many car replacements, Modpack enhance overall gameplay by adding configuration file where you can increase cars crash resistance and disabling input lag by turning off V-sync completely. Game feels much more polished and enjoyble. Maybe game still dont deserves Most Wanted name, but now it definitely deserves your time

Not even gonna lie, this game had one of the best trippiest cutscenes for introducing cops and those “rivals”, hyping them up to be a big threat. The level of abstraction was so unreal
Koenigsegg Jesko is one of the most OP cars in NFSMW 2012 and Forza Horizon 5.

The multiplayer was amazing back in the day. Even though the single player was pretty barebones, I still ended up enjoying it. Having (almost) all the cars unlocked at the start and hidden away in the open world gave it a kind of freedom that I've only ever experienced in Gran Turismo 6. It felt like having my Hotwheels cars all scattered around my bedroom and I would just randomly pick one, mess around with it, race it, smash cops with it, pick another one, rinse and repeat. Obviously the progression of games like the original Most Wanted is better and should be the standard but this game was a break from that standard that I was able to enjoy.
It just was a pure multiplayer game and that multiplayer was so much fun. It's actually my most played nfs
i racked up a whopping 3k hrs on most wanted 2012 just in multiplayer, it started to die so everyone kinda left, i remember all the meta cars and tracks... and the airport was very fun

Ironically, this game's online has better progression than the single player
They took the name blacklist from 2005 and sucked every ounce of fun out of it in single player. The reason this game is so hated is that disrespect towards a game that has such a good blacklist. MW2005 is still fun. With the same blacklist we played for hundreds of times.

If EA let Criterion cook even more, we could have proper sequel to MW'05, because in earlier builds of the game plot resolves around being on the run after Rockport events

back in 2012 this game was so fun, big memories plus the online meets were lit. decent soundtrack and good engine sounds
NFSMW 2012 also has custom soundtrack option on EASYDRIVE.
For now this game looks and feels like relevant. For those times, when this was released, it was way ahead of its time.

Y'know, with the addition of new cars and UI changes, as well as physics technically being modifiable, it's now theoretically possible for some madman to model a bunch of Burnout cars, replace the real ones, and turn this into an actual Burnout game.
I as a player that never really bothered by minor glitches really enjoyed Most Wanted 2012. The only thing I always had in mind was "Why is it called Most Wanted", like it's really doesn't fit for this game, and it also breaks the effect of old Most Wanted when there are 2 of them.
And in my opinion this game even after many fails it was worth my time.
It was supposed to be a actual finished game but ea rushed criterion to get this game out
1:24 you can actually disable multiplayer checks (still won't protect against players' shunts) and expand the wreck resistance beyond the limited by the mod itself by recompiling it

Didn't play multiplayer but i really loved the sound design and music in this game, completed it multiple times because of it
This def has the best map, atmosphere and overall vibe for me.
It's great but the physics are still 2010 Hot Pursuit based which works well for long sweeping open roads which was that map. Not a tight city.
I always loved this game because of the sounds, they were amazing for the time.

I got the game for free on Origin back in the day. But it was only a few years ago I dusted it off and played it thoroughly. Well worth my money!
I quite enjoyed the challenge of finding all the cars. I was missing one for the longest time, but I wouldn't look up the spots! I had to turn off the music and listen for the parked cars' own music (or whatever humming it was). Apparently only one can make noise at a time. Because when I was driving down a street very slowly and for the umpteenth time, the noise suddenly switched directions. I didn't know of any car in the new direction, but there it was, the one I had been looking for!

I bought this game thinking it was the original Most Wanted but with a different cover, and then ended up playing it for years because i didnt have a ps2 anymore and couldnt play the OG Most Wanted anymore
that disappointment must've probably been comparable to finding out, that you are adopted

How do you get it to work?
After they changed Origin to EA my game crashes on the loading screen.
Spent over 550 hours in the game, love it to bits for its multiplayer but yeah, can't play it anymore with the EA app..
There are "fixes" to get the game to load, but that takes turning off multiplayer functionality, the only good thing about the game (along with the soundtrack)

No doubt in my mind, most wanted 2012 had the greatest multiplayer ever. I remember playing mp more than single player and then getting in trouble with my parents for playing too long 😅

The satisfaction of nailing a hairpin turn using the e-brake and NOT flying into a wall and crashing... was a bit odd that every car could do it rirrelevant of your current speed though.

I enjoyed this game on PS Vita, on Wii U this game have cool feature. You can choose the time of day, and disable the traffic.

I would love if you make videos of those builds and upload them here on TH-cam. It is so interesting to see how the game could have been, and also, it is so cool to document early builds of any game. It's like a hidden treasure for the fans of said games!
@@mozar94 There is not much to show. Mostly there are same two cars, unfinsihed city. It freezez a lot, falling through the road, white boxes as buildings, placeholders everywhere like cartoon looking trees for example. It is lagging most of the time because dev kit of console have more RAM etc. It is not playable as released version. One build starts with cop chase once you leave garage and it leads to unfinished road. The cops are highlighted in the rear view mirror orange as in Hot Pursuit. I bet there are still some vids here on youtube. That is how i found out about it and began to chase these builds.
I bought the game on Steam, linked with my EA App, but when I run the exe from the download, it just runs the original game, not the modded exe I am trying to run. Please help!

my main issue with 2012 was the difficulty, it was too easy. I remember trying a run using only the Raptor against the blacklist just to see how far id get... I beat all of them...
I feel like 2012 Most Wanted would have been looked at differently if it wasn't called "Most Wanted"

i find this NFS game to be my favorite.
i absolutely adore Burnout, so it makes sense that the most Burnout-esk NFS would be my favorite

It's always been a shame that this game is so dragged down by its flaws, because it's my favorite game to actually race in. Threading the needle at 200mph with Icona Pop blasting is a wonderful memory.

i downloaded the mod and started with 500,000 speed points how do i remove this shit xD
download that game a few days ago. Found some fast cars, play 2-3 events and lost any motivation to continue. No visual customization, alomost zero gameplay progression, weird delayed handling wich doesnt work with small map with a lot of traffic. Even dubstep cant save this game for me, i actually love dubstep.

Nfs feels off with freeroam MC style, some barriers like hotpursuit it works

The singel player is Not really good. but i enjoy the multiplayer. I like the System and how Funny It was with friends to play the challenges oder the races. or you doing shit in freeroam like gliches or try to beat rekords. they try It in other games, but It was Not the same anymore. The Crashes was sometimes really ugly but also Funny. i Would say i miss These game. but only for the multiplayer

I think I tried this game for a total of about an hour and a half years ago and hated it so much that I never went back to it lol. I never really liked Burnout Paradise so there was just no hope of me liking this game.

Using the name " Most Wanted" for this cashgrab will piss people off forever. Mods can fix alot but since this game doesnt really have a good single player experience It wont get into my " good modern NfS collection" that only consists of HP2010 and Heat..

Nah this game was never for me, I didn't like the progression and the lack of proper visual customization. Multiplayer was fun though, the one thing I truly enjoyed.
