  • LEGOLAND BULK SORTING AND UPLOAD!!! | We Finally Sorted and Uploaded the LEGOLAND Bulk "New" LEGO
    In this video, Evan and Paul finish the process of sorting, cataloging, and uploading thousands of parts adding hundreds of new lots to the store. This LEGOLAND bulk was purchased back in September of 2020 and has just now finally been added to the store.

    Wow, I didn’t think it was this time consuming. Great job guys! I just recently placed a small order thanks to your video on how to order on bricklink. This was a trial order for me since I’m just starting collecting Lego. If everything goes well I look forward to ordering more from you!

    Glad the stockroom tip helped! I was a bit disappointed the first time I did a mass upload and there were no remarks field. May be worth starting a forum post to campaign for it haha.

    You should also calculate in the 'unsellable parts' factor. Like adding 2000 of those pink 1x1 circles is nice for the numbers, but how realistic is it that you actually sell that many? (At full price at least, they might sell in bulk if you lower the price)

      @JustABrickInTheBucket  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In our experience their is a reverse bell curve(don't know technical name). If you have a very low quantity the lot will sell out, if you have a medium quantity it will not, but if you have a massive quantity someone will come by and buy 2000 of them. Very odd.

      @@JustABrickInTheBucket I guess people with mega projects looking for a huge number of something don't bother buying a dozen medium lots from different sellers, but wait until the find somebody with a huge lot?

    Great review, of the value of used and new bulk. I have a lot to add, lets do a stream soon. I also have some tips for uploading parts.

  • @DavidWestDNABrix
    @DavidWestDNABrix 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Also, the used will give you a lot more lots because you will be getting (potentially) every piece ever made not just pieces currently being made

    I would like to know about those white square and rectangular containers that you were sorting into!
    Ohh! I see, when you use the stockroom to upload, it ONLY puts pieces there that do not already exist in your inventory!
    1-day process... no, 2-day process! Umm, no, 3-day process.. Awww - 4-day process!

    I would’ve guessed a higher lot count on these but nevertheless great numbers.
    For the „remarks problem“ I‘m using small powershell script which copies remarks from a downloaded inventory bsx file to my new bsx file.
    As always great video :)
    Looks like I need to improve my first sorting stage a bit. Currently I’m only using the categories Brick, plate, slope, tile, technic and miscellaneous 🤔

    Do you store New and Used parts in different sections in your storage area? Obviously you wouldn't want to accidentally consolidate a used lot into a new one, right?

  • @brickbinz8302
    @brickbinz8302 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    To get my current existing lots to copy over the remarks and comments in Brick store I...
    -import store inventory
    -select all and set quantity to 0
    -copy whatever I'm trying to upload into the tab with the store inventory
    -when consolidating make sure you select the one with existing comments and remarks
    -now you can delete all the items left that have 0qty

  • @TheLeafHunter

    Brick-slayer did a video showing how to upload a .bsx file to brick freedom and that will populate the remarks for lots you already have, and then you import that back into brick store and add the remarks for the new lots. Pretty slick

    where do you and others get the many elements and colours I have never seen, these don't come up on pick a brick. I know you can buy on Brick link but is there another way or do they come from the Lego shops or sets?. To say I'm into Lego in a huge way, I am still always surprised at parts and colours I wasn't aware of. I guess another possibility is different Lego warehouse/factories from country to country that churn this stuff out that don't make it in to other countries?.
