I think it's funny that people care so much about "the unboxing experience" which has no bearing on the utility or quality of the product
It matters to me 🤷🏻♂️ if I pay for something I’d like nice packaging. That’s like buying a Rolex and getting in a cardboard box.
Gotta agree with Sam here. I mean, WHY would you care so much about packaging that’s totally worthless/useless? YOU’RE paying extra for the packaging - that shit isn’t free and the manufacturer darn sure isn’t eating the cost. This packaging nonsense has gotten out of hand because it’s costing everyone more money than necessary for a given item - money that COULD be saved and used to buy another piece of gear that you can ACTUALLY use!
@@dtom420 Exactly. 30 seconds into the video and heard "packaging experienced," paused to see if anyone is smart enough to realize how dumb that is...found your comment. I would rather save $5 and get it shipped in a plastic bag in a USPS Flat Rate box (something that's pretty common for small shop craftsmen to do because they are selling their work, not someone else's box). The Rolex example above is absurd. There's a reason those watches come with nice boxes (1) it's to protect the watch, warranty cards, and other paperwork; (2) it's expected for luxury watch brands to supply their brand named box with said watch, aka it's an industry standard. This is a hank, why would I want a fancy box? You're exactly right, there is zero practicality or benefit to the end user.
I agree with you. But then people also have watches... Which is pretty silly to me. To each their own homie ;)
@@RikkiHernandez personally I’d rather get something high quality in nondescript crappy packaging than something low or medium quality in top of the line packaging showcasing as a nicer product.

my dad carried a handkerchief my whole life, i couldn’t stand carrying one until i started when i got really into edc, ive always been into knives, but now after buying really nice hanks i carry one every single day without fail

Great review man! I agree in the packaging for renegade, definitely top notch and I like the exclusive feel of them! Mighty hanks has been my go to because of size and patterns, just a good size.

FYI, I've bought a couple of custom hanks from Mighty Hanks. Meaning, I found material, reached out to them and had them special order it to make a hank for me exclusively. The first being Deadpool, which she later released to the public to become a bit of success. Honestly, I could care less about unboxing unless I am getting something high end. What I do expect when I open a hank is a well made product that will be durable towards my need. So far, with Renegade EDC, I haven't seen much that has sparked my desire to purchase one of theirs yet, but I'll keep checking. You never know. I did recently purchase one from Ace of Hanks which should be here within the week. There are quite a few creators in the edc community, however, each with their own flair.

These hanks are nice but way over priced. Make your own Hanky for way cheaper. Plus you get the satisfaction of knowing you made it your self. Every Real Man should know how to sew, if not you need to learn how to sew, Especially if you are a Prepper. Lets face reality, you are prepping for a reason, Right? Don't just prep your Bag, Prep your Mind and Develop your Skills as well........
