Are you really an old guy that used to coach my Rugby club at the U of F, back in the late, late 70's? I think i may be looking at some of your stuff as part of what i do to remind myself to focus in when I start my work, and also when I put myself in the position to having to hone and/or upgrade my skills. Best of luck to you..... Nicely done.... Thank you..... Have like and subscribed.....

As an archer I have some mental problems. During practice everything is fine, however during competition I tend to freeze up a bit. Everything feels a bit weaker and more wobbly, resulting in lots of hesitation and doubt in making the shot. Eventually i just push trough, but my end results are always lower compared to training. I think it's a bit comparable to trigger freeze in other shooting sport. Any tips?

+foxbow90 Sounds like it could be a bit of physical 'nerves' which then influence some doubts etc. Maybe try incorporating some ratio breathing (1:2 inhale:exhale durations) into your preshot routine to help reduce physical over-activation, and once that's 'set' try creating some physical fatigue right before shooting in training to replicate trying to shoot with that shakey/weaker feeling. These are just suggestions based on that short description, please do think about if they're going to be right for you before using them, and email me directly if you have any questions or concerns! Address in my channel info tab. Thanks!
