I loved that TedTalk, but I don't know but for me, this is one of the most underrated videos. The "FOCUS" is so simple that it actually worked.
I found out about the power of focus when listening to Dan Pena, and that blew my mind off.
It is the skill that dishinguishes high performing individuals from non-performing ones. That taught me so much.
    Thank you so much.

This deserves more views. From here I learned that if I want to learn a foreign language correctly in Duolingo, I need to delete any distractions, and stop listening to music and concentrate on the lesson.

Very well-done Sean! Love the message on focus, meditation and the term "self-interference"

This guy explained topic very well. The most interesting when we quotating that focus not help in performance but in learning too. Lack of focus can be self descruction.

my take away from this video and few others is to get the best result of anything we desire most we then have to dedicate all we got for that one thing that really matters and not pay attention to ten different other things as badly, they are not just saying this, focus really is the key.

Not races or languages or anything else discriminates one against the others, it's the FOCUS distinctive each other, make one stand out from the rest!!

I think they too heavily edited this talk. I wish Mr. Brawley would give another talk again, with more than 10 minutes so he can properly elaborate.

There are several factors in learning to focus better. One resource I found that succeeds in merging these is the Magic Focus Plan (google it if you're interested) definately the most useful blueprint i've heard of. look at all the super info .

Focus = Important. Also, for all you baseball and tennis players out there, I've developed very effective mindful concentration and focus techniques that are proven ways to help you focus and see the ball better and ultimately make you a better player, but of course I'm not going to share any of these techniques with you here. Ok thank you very much. What a waste of 8 minutes.

Wait, the coach asked, “What can you teach us about baseball?” and the answer was “Never”?! What?!! I went back and listened again. That’s what he said, with some self-plug about his “innovative” techniques bla bla bla etc. Someone check me on this. I’m like, “Damn. This guy really is drunk.” Ted Talk my @$$, this was Ted Ramble. Ted Obfuscate. Ted Blow Smoke (guess where). Total waste of my Life Stuff. I want it back.
