I have been going through pain in shoulder , arm and tingling in hands for almost 2yrs. Have been to chiropractor, orthos, got relief for a day or 2. Practiced what you have explained in this video and it has done magic. Have got relief 80% in 2 days only. Thanks Dr Mandell.

I have been to multiple cardiovascular doctors, a neurologist, and hospitals etc for massive chest pain and numbness all down my left side of my neck, arm, and body with my jaw trembling. None of them described this to me or even mentioned it. Periodically these symptoms would be so painful they’d trigger a panic attack because I thought I was having a heart attack. I could not believe my eyes when I saw the pain chart as no one could ever explain why my thumb was going numb and my chest, neck, and back had symptoms. I was repeatedly told I just had anxiety and they put me on Xanax and Zoloft. This has helped me much more than any of that did. Thank you!!!!

I've suffered all sorts of unpleasant neck-related symptoms, for decades, and tried all manner of stretches, exercises and healing contraptions, with only minimal effect. This is the first time I've felt an actual muscle knot, and boy was it tender! I was pressing it throughout the video, and it's still incredibly tight and sensitive, but now I know what I need to focus on, and what I can do about it. Many thanks, Alan!

This is so helpful!! I have a shortened right side of my jaw so the left side jaw and neck are always tense. Recently I started working at a grocery store stocking and have been having intense tightness in my neck shoulders and tingling in between my left scapula and spine. I think this may be the key to releasing all that tension and tightness. Thanks so much for all you do, to help people understand their bodies more and give them the power to heal their issues. 🤗🙏💜

For quite a while now I have been complaining of a pain that feels like someone is trying to pull my collarbone out of my body. After agreeing to and having posterior cervical fusion done I have been experiencing similar pains and also even more pain in my hands. Pain is bi-lateral. I am so done with the medical establishments thinking we are all cut from the same cloth and the 1size fits all solutions they come to prescribe. I have started to "listen" to what my body is telling me and researching drug free ways to relieve the extreme pain I am in 24 hrs a day. Thank God for people like you that give us the tools to heal ourselves.

Nice - this gets to the nagging numbness and tingling sensation that I keep getting in my outer right hand, especially after I have been sleeping for a while and it makes it feel like it has also gone to sleep on me. This is one of the symptoms that I have had to remind myself to not mention to my neurologist, because then he will drive me nuts with a whole bunch of appointments, tests, and referrals just to rule out what could have been fixed with much less hassle.

I’ve been on and off bodybuilding for years now because of this pain in my shoulder that over time got worse and spread down to my arm and fingers and also some pain in my chest and mid back area, as well as difficulties with swallowing. I worked on the trigger points you referred to in the anatomical Bermuda Triangle and it was definitely painful. Also did the towel technique too and after doing those, I was literally feeling this weird sensation from my neck down my shoulder to my arms, right exactly where they used to hurt, but now in a relieving sensation. For the longest time I have been unmotivated to workout because of these injuries, I can’t thank you enough for helping me figure out and solve my problem. I can’t wait to finally completely recover and get back to doing physical activities without any pains and problems.

    Hi Dr M,
I suspect my very mild tinnitus is musculoskeletal in origin given it dramatically intensifies when I press the side of my head against my hand, and significantly more so when I press the back of my head against my hand. I found some studies indicating that releasing trigger points around the SCM and Scalenes improves this type of tinnitus. I found many very tender spots around these as I followed your video. Is there anything more you could add about the connection between tinnitus and structural imbalance and/or nerve pressure?

I got hit on my right trapizous near my neck. The contraction I believe touched the scalenes muscles and caused pressure on the brachial plexus. It lead to inflammation, numbness from right shoulder ,arm and two small fingers. It was a terrible pain.. won't allow anyone to touch my arm. Several weeks later pain in the two hands that resembles the carpel tunnel showed up. ( The person who hit me was a coworker " was tapping my shoulder but used excessive force by doing it, felt contraction in my neck instantly). This happened in October 2017, went through physiotherapy.. today is September 2020, still can feel some contraction in trapizous.. little pain still in two hands.. shoulder can't do heavy effort, I will feel pain after.
