I finally saw one in person the other day. It finally looks like a real supercar.
As fast like a Ferrari, looks like a Ferrari... But with a less complicated engine and at a much...much lower price-range
I already liked Corvettes (fav is a 1965 C2 convertible) and this C8 is getting better and better as I keep looking at it

FrankypankyV8 this looks nothing like a Ferrari , I own a C8 and many people don’t know what it is and ask if it is a Maclaren and they are correct that the C8 style body most resembles a Maclaren

Chevy really came up with the C8; just saw one in Rapid Blue up close last weekend and it’s so sharp. I remember my mom racing in the National Corvette Club riding in them as a kid yet never imagined 2020 would have Chevy producing a stunning piece of art & engineering as the C8; it’s such an impressive marvel for the dollar - great review as always! 🔥
1. Yes I would definitely get a 2020 Corvette 2. I would add magnet ride to improve ride & feel, and 3. It was nice having Ortega back as part of the review. Great job!!!

If they made the Stingray perfect, no one would buy the Z06 or ZR-1. So, it kind of makes sense.

I’m set to receive my Elkhart Lake Blue 1LT, w/ Z51, Mag Ride, Competition seats, Upgrade Audio w/Performance Data Recorder and engine appearance package this week. Nice to see a review close to my C8.

A nice review, and there have been many reviews by now. I like your straightforwardness and also your considering what an owner can do to fine tune some of the traits of the car. Interesting observation of the fogging up of the windshield. In my view the C8 best compares to other cars at the same price point, 67,000+ in this set up, so that would be a base Cayman T or S, possibly, i e the four cylinder turbo variant, or a Jag F-type. Not having driven it, my preference would be the C8 based on GT-credentials more than out-and-out sports car.
The rear looks a lot like a Camaro...I was driving behind one on the 405 for a good 20 minutes and didn't know it was a Corvette until the guy switched lanes.

The Scruff it looks nothing like a Camero from the rear end. The Camero is a yesterday design. It is outdated.
I like your review it is honest and to the point the one point I like is that when you compare corvette to the high cost super cars there is also a high cost to keep a super car going but the corvette is made for the average person to afford to get it and enjoy it and drive the corvette

I have a 2022 Red Mist 2LT, Z51, HTC, Mag Ride, Front Lift, GT2 Seats, Jet Black Napa Interior, Tow Hook, Contoured Liner Package, Battery Protection Package, Carbon Flash Painted Mirrors & Spoiler and Standard Wheels.
Didn’t go for Carbon Fiber, I’m not a big fan of it. (Big $$$, but IMO, you don’t get a lot!)

I like the video so far but I had to comment at 16:25 into it. Probably someone already commented on this but in case not, you can NOT fit a golf bag in the front. You can however, fit TWO golf bags in the back. I've seen it done so, yes it is possible. Thanks!

No it's not the American 911..its the American C8 Corvette. This is a base Corvette..let's compare it to the base porsche 911. The Corvette like all Corvettes look miles better than a Porsche. The front of the vette has to be one of the best looking modern sports cars ever. The interior has not been up to the quality as a porsche, not this one. I easily prefer the Corvettes interior, it makes porsches look dull and dated. The Corvettes V8 engine is the one to get. The porsche has a 3 litre flat 6. 0 to 60mph in 4.2 seconds which is no were near Corvettes astonishing 2.9 seconds. The bulletproof Corvette engine doesnt cost a fortune to maintain..same goes for parts and servicing, unlike the silly money you pay for a porsche. Then theres the price. $60,000 for the vette and $105, 439 for the porsche. It's a no brainer...drive an ordinary looking porsche or drive a gorgeous C8 Corvette.

forrest, whats your thoughts on the 1LT Comp seats? Since its partial leather and performance textile...they look way better than the ugly GT1 seats,
Chevy, please put xtra thick padding on future driver side " seat " cushion, not enough support in previous vettes, very painful.

I enjoyed the review, but check your facts. No golf bag in the frunk, n cell phone charger is not just a extra pocket. Nice job.
I found the brake pedal to lack feedback and getting threshold braking was inconsistent. The platform really wasn't good at trailbraking either. Most annoyingly, when I tried to tighten my line by slightly breathing off throttle, the GM PDK would downshift, and I couldn't predictably steer on throttle. At tight sections where you have to maximize your VMINs, the car screamed for front end grip. Glad I shelled out to to track one, but I wouldn't spend my own money on it. The C7 is the superior platform if you're going to a track that has a lot of elevation change or downhill/off camber braking. Meh maybe I'm not the best driver; I'm 2 secs/lap faster in a C7Z51 than a C8Z51 at a 2 minute track.
The car has to be in the right mode for sub 3sec 0-60. Plus the 91 octant gas in California doesn't help ether.

Has anyone bought a 2020 corvette over MSRP i saw on you tube many dealers selling above MSRP and many buyers are flipping and still making money.I live up state NY I put down 2K refundable to be on list for 2022 z06 first on list and refundable good part.The bad is 10K over msrp found one other dealer in my area that sells corvette said if could get a z06 it would be 10K over MSRP
...shoulda bought the 2LT...too many features missing on the 1LT...
Great review! Does anybody have any input on which seats to order for comfortable road trips? I am 6’1” and 195 lbs. I do not know the differences between the GT1 and GT2 seats. The only thing I keep hearing from all the reviews is that the GT3 seats are the least comfortable.
I own this car since March. This car is ridiculous performance and quality for the extremely low purchase price, that is if you can get one.
