Talk about a real Gem! This 1964 Chevrolet Belair is in pristine condition inside and out. It runs excellent, recent engine clean up and gasket set. The underside is very nice. Overall a very sorted and well-restored Belair. Mechanically and cosmetically does not need anything. Please take a moment to look at our reviews. Over 1000 classic cars sold 95% being out of state sight unseen. We will describe them as they are.

This was the first new car my parents owned. A 64 BelAir 4 dr in this exact color and interior but with a 6 cylinder motor, Dad loved those Chevy 6s. It was a car you took for granted, always did exactly what it was designed to do. In the 8 years they owned it it never broke down, never left you stranded, never wrecked the family budget with expensive repairs, alway started even on those sub zero northeast winter mornings. It got Dad to work every day. It was never garaged, rarely washed, the interior carpet swept infrequently with a small cane whisk broom almost out of sense of guilt for neglect. Not flashy, simple clean lines, little chrome, spartan interior but still I think it's one of the most beautiful cars Chevrolet ever made, definitely under appreciated. A real good ole girl!

In Canada, the Bel Air was also called a Pontiac Laurentian, with a std. 261 c.i.d, which was a bored out 235 c.i.d, it wasn't a wide tracking Catalina.

This was the first car I ever owned and drove it while in college. Mine was same color as the car in this video, however, mine was a straight six, automatic. I had a great echo chamber in the truck. Miss it very much. The bench seat in the front was great for dates. :-)

That’s actually a very nice car. That was the most popular color of a
Chevrolet of the 60s starting in 1961.

Cool, concise and comprehensive video. I've got one of these in about the same condition, but with a fresh 409 engine. It's a hell of a lot louder than this one! Looks like a school teacher's car, but hammers the earth upon which it stands. Totally irresponsible. I love it.

No engine badges on it so it probably started life as a six. The engine doesn’t look like a 283 or a 327.
