Yeah, they made it so the automatic has a lower gear ratio than the manual so it takes off faster

If you remove the air filter from your bypass valve and just vent to atmosphere, you'll will hear that discharge sound a lot more.
That’s what happens when i put on my long tubes and I don’t have a custom tune, it sucks but I just live with it. I can clear it with the trinity but it doesn’t affect the drivability at all. I even tried the little angle adapters, nothing

love the car, ive been looking at boost options for my 5.7 and ive never been a huge fan of the procharger, but you might have changed my mind a bit. but i think 20 mpg is pushing it a bit, i mean im NA and fairly stock and if i was cruising (which you were over 2k rpm) i might average 16 if im lucky,
It’s not too bad, I got a hellcat and averaged 22 on the high way for 300 miles. It’s doable but not fun at all lol

I had that p1sc. it suck. then I sold it and got a kennebell song night and day difference procharger was a headache noisy under power.

P1 and D1 use same gears.. the difference is in the impeller and diffuser.

I agree with every point you made except when you said to get the P1 over the D1. To have the car built with the D1 it's a $200 difference at HHP over the P1. If you decide for more power down the line then you don't have to spend $1500 and send you procharger in. That's just my 2 cents though, love the car, looks amazing, well done with the procharger!

I'd go with stroking the motor to 406 then you have a solid base for more boost without killing your engine. Depends on your budget and your end results. Good luck.

Yea I had too man the hellcat deal was just to good to pass up, plus I took the 5.7 to the limit I would have spent a lot more money to make it any faster so had to upgrade

I was wondering what was done to the GSF, stock they're within 50lbs of your Chally, and they're only slightly faster than a bone stock R/T. So I knew something was done too it when he hung with your car that's probably making 600hp at the crank lol

Do you have standard or the Helical gears, If you have Cold Air Intake all of the Pro Chargers that I have seen it looks like you loose that spot to the Pro Charger. I couldn't really tell from the video but how does it really sound at local speeds, saw one video the guy describes it like a box of rocks. In New York guy gave me a price of about 10k with Long Tube and the D1.

I actually sold that cR recently to get a hellcat bro sorry. But no I had no issues at all with it. Beat the piss out of it and it ran great all the time. Highly recommend. I let the stock procharger tune cuz it was super safe. It should be plenty of power man let me know if you have any other questions bro.

Impressive power gains. Not impressed buy the sound of the procharger itself as shown when the car is at idle. It sounds like the bearings are bad with that rattle. Has it always had that sound? If so, that can't be normal!
It’s normal. They have straight cut gears inside that’s why they sound like that. You can buy ones with helical gears as a upgrade option since everyone hates the sound

Have you thought about new heads or intake runners? I have an ‘06 magnum rt with a full exhaust and trinity t1000 and I’m thinking of doing a p1sc as well but don’t know if I should do heads or intake too.
Nah man heads are way to expensive for the amount of power you get in my opinion. Just get the p1, it makes good power plus your intake goes way if you get a procharger so don’t waste your money. Best bet is to do a p1 and forge the internals and crank up the boost but they make good power with out doh g that. I was at 522 rwhp and like 476 tq

I saw the check engine light on...that is what I am hearing about procharger... many check engine codes
The procharger gave me zero issues. The problem is long tube headers and high flow cats. My o2 sensors throw a code all the time

Yea man the procharger didn’t change the drive ability at all unless you get in it. I highly recommend it plus with the tune it comes with and only being on 7-8 psi it’s super safe. I drive mine like asshole 99% of the time and it was perfectly fine never had anything break

I am getting a pro charger this Spring. I also have the Diablo Sport Tuner set up and run 93 octane now. Do they have to reset the ECU when installing the pro charger or can they just bolt on the pro charger and proceed to tune it with the Diablo Sport tune that already installed?
They can use the diablo sport. The procharger comes with one as well. I just sold the new one after since i had the trinity before.

Im personaly not sold, that noise the pro charger makes at idle is terrible.. that clanking noise from the pulley area....yes they say its normal but come on.. thats metal on metal somewhere in that thing which will lead to wear and tear sooner than later.. I imagine they are not cheap to service.

You would have to build it really strong. The internals can only hold 7-8lbs of boost safely
manuals are slow you shoulda got a auto.... having power wont help much if u cant shift perfectly everytime.

Those Lexus gsf are fast, the auto killed me. Plus he was lighter. He made 460whp. The full 8 will give you only 20 more hp. I didn’t take off the pro charger cuz my old parts got trashed in our move. That’s a great idea for a build man, that thing will be fast! I really wish I tried drag radials on the RT before I sold it though

Shorty headers might be ok if you keep the cats, I had high flow cats too so that didn’t help either.

Do cars really not last as long as it would with a superchager i habe a have challenger and what to to get a supercharger but i want to get a long life out of it
So the procharger doesn’t affect drive ability if you drive it normal, but with any power adder you will want to feel it that is where your wear will come into play, mine drove smooth when my foot wasn’t in it. I think the drive train will wear out faster than the engine on the 5.7 challengers.

The 5.7L chargers and challengers are slow. Too much weight, and not enough power. It's a decent base engine, but I'd have to go for the 6.4L
