Hi. The issue will be in your layers panel. Your rectangle needs to be inside of the data merge layout layer to populate. Just drag your rectangle and drop it on top of the data merge layer and it will work correctly. I should have mentioned in the video that you need the data merge layer selected when adding content to duplicate it. 🙂 hope this helps.

My rectangle did not populate any ideas why this might have happened?
