Kuroko is honestly a top 3 anime for me it's just so damn good for me.

I really think that Murasakibara and Yosen are really underrated. They kinda got hoed by Mura just not wanting to play offense for like a half.
i agrée that match was actually crazy and that dunk Kagami made on Murasakibara was nasty
Hmm true but I question whether Mura’s knees would’ve lasted that long seeing as he wasn’t able to jump in the final moments of the game after only playing offends for half.
@@Mwriggles Thats very fair, I feel like now that he has rekindled his love for the sport he's going to be a top threat from the GOM and has some crazy potential.
@@Mwriggles He doesnt have to jump everytime he goes on offense, he just did that to make his opponents lose hope
Kuroko No Basuke, Haikyuu, and Blue Lock is the Big Three of sports with their father being Slam Dunk similar to how fans say that Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece are the children of Dragon Ball for Shounen.
Kidding aside, KNB is a such a nice anime, might be cringe sometimes but the unique styles of Generation of Miracles was such a nice concept at the time. Even Haikyuu has Monster Generation and I guess Blue Lock you could consider NG11 as the equivalent. It's a really nice series
Hajime no ippo is also one of the fathers imo of sports anime even though its not well known its sooo goood.

This could've been any other sport, like fucking soccer or hockey, but the heart of this show is IN THE STORY of the generation of miracles, how friends were predestinated to become enemies, and how Kagami as an outsider was predestinated to resolve their insoluble conflict by winning against all of them TF U MEAN U DON'T KNOW WHY?? Did u just watch the fucking action scenes with no dialogs or flashbacks whatsoever?? KUROKO NO BASKET IS NOT ABOUT ACTION
i meant it more in the sense that they all went to different school to go agaisnt eachother being that they wanted some actually comp and only the other members of the GOM could provide that but they could've definetly challenged each other on the same team and went about it differently. Although i do know that would most likely completely changed the approach for the entire story but in the match against Jabberwock it was great seeing them all play together and new combos they made yk
It’s been 2 years since I watched kuroko and I will say I forgot about it but then all of a sudden I remembered it and I would watch it again

You should watch the kuroko's basketball movie "the last game",they actually fight a team from america and the miracle gen teams up again

I disagree with sports big 3 being haikyuu,blue lock,kuroko no basket the only reason people consider it is because they are from 2010s and are more popular and nowadays people doesn't watch much sports anime except blue lock,kuroko no basketball, blue lock,free,that ice hockey one and sk infinite. The actual bug 3 would be prince of tennis, hagime no ippo and slam dunk these anime used to be popular at 1990-2000s they are the reason why sports genra are popular but nowadays anime fan doesn't even watch any of those nowadays all of these are underrated

Just a few things to note:
1. Kagami is not american but a japanese who went to America for a couple of years
2. The generstion of miracles joined different schools because they were bored of always winning and wanted a challenege
is Kagami not half american or am i tripping and ik the GOM wanted a chanllenge from each other but they could've still challenged themselves while being on the same team if the approach taken was different yk

They couldve challenged themselves, but if they all had a full team to themselves, it'd prolly make things more interesting.
i recently finished watching season 1 and i am hooked , this anime is absolutely fantastic.....

I watched this back when I was in AAU in middle school. This was legit my goat sports anime. I’ve seen Haikyuu and Blue Lock. This and Haikyuu are my top 2 and I can’t really say who’s number 1. For the sole fact that they are both literally just sports anime told differently. Haikyuu was more like the feeling of playing sports and sportsmanship and Kuroko was more like a battle of beasts and abilities that literally NBA level talent does. Trust me. I’ve gotten cooked by players who are in the NBA now back as a 13 y/o.
It is the best no doubt
For me my fav sport anime's are kuroko no basket (basketball), haikyuu (volleyball), hajim no ippo(boxing), prince of stride (parkour relay racing) AND Initial D (drift racing)
Regardless of where you rank the anime, the show's highs are undeniably PEAK

Unfortunately the reason I’d say it isn’t the best sports anime is due to plot armour, it is 100% my favourite personally and got me into basketball even though I wasn’t even a huge fan of basketball to begin with, but the plot amour was just to much at times, winning literally every single game except one and losing to teams they should not have won agasint, yosen had 3 members who where 6’10 basically and they lost cause murasakibara couldn’t shoot or do anything like pass, and you’re telling me a 5’6 unathletic could jump high enough to knock it outta a 6’10 demons hands? Hell nah, Kise who is every GoM? Nah he lost too! Akashi who had the most OP team ever, 3 uncrowned kings, emperor eye, many feats and leaving serin down like 40 points at one point in the game! All members in the zone and they LOST!!! What
nah u not wrong but that’s also a way of showing that basketball is more than a physical game and murasakibara proves that because he’s just ignorant asf but obv for logistic reasoning and Kise who can copy the of GOM especially being that he didn’t have an “athletic body” to begin with plus being young like the rest of them, and playing injured too yk
@DarkheroJosh there is alot that goes into it, but the fact is. Kise almost beat aomine when he COULD ONLY copy Aomine, then he versed hazaki (or however you spell his name) and learnt to copy EVERY GOM, then serien barely beat aomine, so with that being said, kise with more controll of perfect copy should have been better then Aomine, and yet when he went agasint serien, he lost, which to me makes absolutely no sense, but let's just say for plot purposes they won fair and square, I still don't see how they managed to beat rakuzan, the entire show lead up to that match. The finals, and I know they didn't want to drag it on, but that's 2 whole seasons without a single loss and it made no sense, the team didn't seem ready to beat rakuzan and I frankly wish they didn't, akashi was a huge threat all by himself and was shown to have beat murisakibara and 3 uncrowned kings all by himself. He was hyped up to never have lost before, had a whole team in the zone, was faster then kagami had emperor eye, but he LOST because some dude could pass really well and was guarding some gate or some BS like that
For everyone saying that knb is the best sport anime, please read slam dunk and you most likely realize that it's not even the best basketball anime/manga.

ngl KnB is trash if you compare it with Haikyu which is written so well that real athletes can relate to the bone to the characters' concerns, anxieties, and hardships in sports. KnB is more like a dragonball type of shounen, high school japanese students standing at 6feet act like they're the best in the world and nobody can beat them lmao. Some nerd shooting 3's full court with perfect form, a edgy MC who does weird passes and dissapears in sight. some guy copying other people's move in perfection. Another guy just do a simple between the leg dribble then suddenly the opponent drops to their knees like it's a kyrie irving ankle breaker. I played basketball since I was 6, I was representative of the my schools from grade school to high school, I loved KnB when I was a kid, but today if you ask me, you can't even compare it to haikyu, Ace of Diamond, or even bluelock which is probably the better version of KnB.
DO NOT WATCH KUROKO NO BASKET IF IT IS YOUR FIRST SPORTS ANIME. IT'LL SET STANDARDS THAT WOULD BE HARD TO MATCH. ESPECIALLY COS ALL THE EPISODES ARE OUT AND YOU CAN BINGE IT IN 3 DAYS

Hell no. For me Hajime no Ippo, Ashita no joe, Slam Dunk, Major and One Outs are all WAY better than Kuroko. The only thing I like in Kuroko is Aomine.
