I'm glad a subscribed was just starting and looking for the proper way to setup this drill and work on defensive footwork. I would like to know if a hard rope and hanging paper or targets would make the drill better.
0:10 other video Rolls shots and weavs /now add pivots 0:30 here move 0:45 keep heel toes stance/after povot too 2:00 pivot out and back/2 pivots on each side 2:25 smooth is fast /show move 2:50 footwork : 3:20 not big steps 3:50 making forward progress when weaving / bit when rolls and pivot I stay planted 4:25 goin backward with it /sane thing (wgen weaving I take backward step ) 4:55 show it 5:40 great drill to create great headmovemnts /and footworks 6:23 not goin too far (its just angle I want continue throwin shots) /keep heel toe
Thank you Coach for the info the positioning of the left hand when he starts doing the movements kind of fast is the hand supposed to be low like that? I’m no expert any info would help thank you thanks for the vid
When Danny rolls under the hook doesn't come forward as a matter of fact he goes BACK some. Great drill just modify to only come forward rolling under the right hand and stay same place rolling under the hook
I would say for that to use the high guard alternating gloves from your hairline to your cheek bone to replace the Philly shell maneuvers. Hope that's helpful
