Thank you for the video - good inspiration. I'm changing out struts and have a rusted bolt so will be cutting the lower part of the struts like you. May I ask how you removed the old bushing? I could use a trick on that please.
I appreciate the dedication and creativity but looking at the contrpl arm, I wonder why you did not replace the entire control arm ... good work though!!
20 seconds into your video I knew I was wasting my time. Video is useless because it doesn't show how you removed old bushings, which is the hard part. If you want to offer mechanical advice, please show a COMPLETE video. Yours is a case of jumping in halfway through the movie. "After some struggle I got the old bushings out. " Gee thanks!
Mine went in much easier. I just greased it and pounded it in with a hammer. One side of the hole is smaller than the other, start at the larger side first.

I did this over the weekend. What a pain in the ass. Next time I will buy complete A-arm with bushing installed.
If money not a problem do it .this is people little money
What size of pipe did you use?
Do you know the part # for that bushing looking at rock auto they have two different ones one for 13$ and the other for 20$
