Hearing this organ in person shook me to my core, both figuratively and literally, and resonated in my very soul. It immediately turned me into a believer because there was no other explanation for that feeling and the emotion that overcame me in that exact moment.

I last served at a Tridentine Mass a few years ago, as far as I recall I was a Catholic...Compared to some past prelates in the Holy See, Henry VIII had reasonable morals... Not it’s not buddy, you can see the huge statue of Mary lol they are Roman Catholics singing Latin and speaking French. Having been to both I can assure you this is Notre dame. The guy with the big hat is the cardinal arch bishop of Paris. And this looks absolutely nothing like Westminster abbey. ❤️

Hudobný vkus je subjektívny. To, čo sa môže páčiť Vám sa nezhoduje s vkusom niekoho iného. Niekomu sa nepáčia francúzske organy a niekomu barokové. Niekto má radšej barok a niekto zase hudbu 20. storočia. Táto subjektivita je to, čo robí hudbu fascinujúcou a rozmanitou.

It's so insanely hard capturing the sound of what's going on in a building like this without sacrifices somewhere. Seems like the production team chose to have the soloist sit on top so people could hear the refrain. The organ in real life would actually drown out the choir and that's somewhat intentional - the idea is the entire congregation must sing with their whole heart to be heard.
