  • Hey guys, sorry for not uploading last week as the weather caught up to us and outdoors is not an option anymore. It'll be harder to find time to record matches indoor as everyone knows how hard it is to reserve a court at a decent time and rate, but I'll try to work something out.
Today I'm practicing with Natalia, who is a 3.0 and plays like a counterpuncher/pusher as she has great defense and pulls me to the net to put away easy slow balls. I noticed during this session that I had a lot of trouble trying to put away balls, as I would hit it back to her instead of going to win the point. That's something I have to work on, and as I gain more experience with a variety of players it'll give me a better idea on how to play against different types of tennis players too. Thank you guys for watching, and leave any tips you have for me! I appreciate anything that can help.

    good serve as always.
come to net when you set up good. I would totally come to net with return like 2:47 and try to stay forward after the 3:00

Guess who's account got unsuspended for having an ad blocker :).
Won't go too in depth as I'm getting done with college finals, couple things I notice. (Positive and negative)
    Positive
    1. You're definitely including a lot more of your body than I remember way back when so good job.
    2. Your net game and approach seems pretty strong
    3. You're taking the ball early compared to most players which is good and gives your opponent less time to recover
    4. That serve is looking a lot more consistent than I remember. Really good job. There's still that wrist action which it might be something relating to your grip but if it isn't, maybe it's something like you're trying to force a racquet drop? But still, you're doing really good.
    Negative
    1. Split step. I see you split stepping on the return of serve. That is good, but it's important to split step on almost every shot so you can react faster. That's really the only negative that I can see.
    2. Backhand. There were a couple times you hit a backhand and you look uncomfortable. That just comes with experience and practice.
Keep it up you're looking good
