Without exaggerating, I think this clip has had the most profound impact on my life out of anything on TH-cam. I moved from a high-paying tech job to writing/narrating on social media literally because I took this clip to heart. Best writing advice ever, full stop.

Heather Hale I saw it long time ago, and today I did look for that using every possibile trick I know. It seems like the whole Stand in series is completely gone.

I think you're thinking of 6 Days to Air, the South Park doc film. If I recall correctly, this was a part of it.

Yes.
Basically they’re saying don’t do what ‘Family Guy’ does. Every scene in your story should connect to one another.
Cause and effect.
For everything that happens there should be an effect on the story, it should cause something. Therefore is an action that follows something. But is a counter to the action but the counter also moves the story forward.
Kyle hates being called a jew by cartman THEREFORE he creates a Jewish youth club BUT cartman tries to stop him by dressing as Hitler. And then is like seeing 2 events happen that have little to know connective tissue happening in a row. Makes for a disjointed watch. When it comes to writing the same rule applies too but depending on the type of writing it can be a much longer strand. Jon Snow is a bastard therefore he feels outta place therefore he joins the outcasts but has a a crisis of faith but decides to stay therefore he steels his faith and goes north with everyone but he gets separated therefore he must fight his way back WITH Wildings therefore he understands them when he returns and tries to help them BUT the other brothers hate this therefore they kill him

Tell a story using the basis of cause and effect instead of listing off a bunch of random things and say its a cohesive narrative.
