For example, discounting factor is 10%, time period is 5 years. Follow this 2 steps in your BASIC calculator A) 1/1.1 then press = five times each year you will get separate values B) Press GT(after clicking = 5 times)button in the BASIC calculator, you'll get total of all the 5 years. Conclusion: Use BASIC calculator instead of Casio because you need not to worry about this constant (k) function

It is not work in scientific calculator. When we press multiple sympol in twice, the shows syntx error
only specific to casio calculator. in other all you have to do is press = and skip the twice multiplication step.
