Thoughts on Rag Chews and a QSO with AD5QU

I had a couple of questions about how to do a rag chew, what its like, how I remember things, and how I consume information one letter at a time. I attempt to answer some of these questions that I received in the comments section - and I also coincidentally engaged in a small rag chew QSO with AD5QU Armando!! (Good example of where I missed the last letter of his name during the QSO and called him Armand) Hope you enjoy!

You couldn’t have timed this video better. I have a pretty intense desire to branch out beyond POTA and try my hand at other forms of CW. The idea of having a conversation with someone in CW really excites me. I need to keep practicing everyday. I hope to rag chew here very soon. 73 de KI7QCF

We need more content like this. I think all the people who don't try CW think it's way more complicated than it actually is and none of the big channels (200k+ subs) talk about it since their goal is to get people to click that amazon link. Keep posting those spicy CW learning techniques no one shares =]

Another great video to inspire CW. Maybe if you get time you could do a couple of videos with random simple 100, words at different speeds. I am sure this would help people to head read then they will have a good idea whats coming after they heard the first couple of letters. Steve G4YTK
