Great video. I like the idea of reconnecting wires one at a time so as not to accidently miss connect connections. I also use electrical tape wrapped around the plastic wire connectors as a added precaution so wires don't loosen up.
Thank you SO much!!! I almost threw my lamp out 😂. It’s been out of commission for more than a year now… I’m glad to keep it, touch lamps so enjoyable to use, especially at bedside. Thank you sgain for your excellent video, clear, well explained, no music covering your dpeach💪
💪💪💪thank you so much, I’m glad to keep my lamp, it’s been out of commission for over a year now🙂 Very clear, enjoyable video, good tips, no music to cover up your voice. Subscribed😊
If you're an electrician and only installing the dimmer exactly as the old one is easy. To figure out which wire goes where when there is no guide dimmer is another thing Thanks
My 3 way touch lamp wouldn't turn on. I opened it up and looked at the wires the lamp turned on. put the bottom back on, returned it to its place and after a minute or so it turned off and wouldn't turn on. Now when I touch it, sometimes, it begins to light up but then turns completely off without fully lighting up..advice?? suggestions??
Home Depot is my favorite store! Just give me an excuse. My lamp started acting flakey, turning on by itself. (Fire hazard comes to mind!). It’s has sentimental value. My late husband & I bought it as kind of a joke. Downsizing but wanted to keep the crazy lamp. Thank you for the video!👍
Hi. Sorry for the delay. I don't recall the part number. I took the base apart, took the part out, and then headed to either Home Depot or Lowe's. Of course, once you have the base apart, you can Google it to find the closest location for that part. Good luck!
A video on replacing the dimmer control module that is not 20 minutes long! Nice.
I don't know how I lived without great videos like these. Fixed two bedside lamps with this help

Nice job. I wish I could find a 4-level control. Mine just went bad after many years, but everything out there now is just 3-level.

I'm going to assume that you unplugged it first during the video transition. Might wanna tell folks that...

I could not see what wires you put together 😢
Did two boxes and three lights exactly none worked
Thanks but the info i need is which wires to connect. Surprised you skipped over this crucial part.
Easy yes if colors are same. If not?
Study the wiring layout or look for a wiring diagram
what the part number
