Enjoy the well-deserved time off! Lovely to see House of Fado in all its glory, was lucky enough to playtest it! I love it while The Gallerist is not my favourite Lacerda 😉
We’re curious to see what potential tweaks/changes they will make in the final production.
Some great games on the list - need to check out Ancient Realms
It's excellent!
Thanks for another lovely video and have a GREAT time off!
Thank you! 😃
Hiya, glad to hear that you enjoyed Ancient Realm. I love that little game. Also, now that I own RR Ink, the basic blue version, maybe in the future you guys could do a LS again where we play along...just putting it out there... Hope you guys have a wonderful holiday!
I hope you have a wonderful time with your family and come back refreshed and relaxed!
Looking Forward to House Of Fado. Hope to see you both in a playthrough. Cheers!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these games.
Thanks for the video!
Fiction: I introduced the game to the fam and played this twice one night, both instances being the lie-brarian and the first game giving them more time 10 minutes per 5 guesses. Clever quick game that requires ~20 minutes of dedication and better with more players to discuss guess ideas with. Want to get it back to the table soon.
Railroad Ink Challenge: I went practically all in on the big box Railroad Ink during its campaign a few years ago, which has both RRI Challenges, ~10 mini-expansions, and a surplus of other expansions, promos and goodies that (along with the original RRI games) all fit into a rectangular box. Still need to play it soon, but otherwise been playing the original RRI on BGA as of late.
Mind Up: Heard it was a big hit overseas last year, and now brought stateside via Pandasaurus. One of those games that could be added to my list of somewhat-mathy, family-friendly, small-box, no-dice games I made for pi day a few years ago. Have it on special order through my FLGS.
Have a fun and safe trip! :)
Thank you for your thoughts on House of Fado. I am considering whether to back the Kickstarter or not. Maybe the two-player game can improved by including the solo mode bot (provided there is one) or by setting up a simple dice-rolling bot yourself that interacts with the spaces without a complex point system for them?
Anyhow, would love to see a full play-through on your channel. :)
Yeah we’d love to see a simple bot that can create the feel of a 3rd player taking the spots you want.
Great video. I need to check out Bot Factory I think. I’ve been too intimidated by most Lacerda games to give the heavier ones a shot.
Enjoy your time traveling! We’ll have to try a game of Railroad Ink on BGA when you are back.
They’re totally worth investing the brainpower into - once I started down the Lacerda path I haven’t looked back!
The Wordmaster in Fiction is officially called the "Lie-brarian". I've only tried Fiction once as the wordmaster and just like Monique I'm very good at the lies, my single opponent didn't manage to guess the word in time. I though they didn't like the game but then they asked if they could borrow the game.
Javi fue romántico y luego…
Will Vital ever release a game that actually delivers an equally good experience at the two player count?
House of Fado is already getting me super excited for speakeasy at the end of this year! The mechanics and look of the game seem like it might be his magnum opus
I am really looking forward to checking out Speakeasy. It may become my first Lacerda purchase!
Excited for that one too!!
M: “No it was good it was the second to highest tier”
N: “how many tiers were there, 3? 😏”
😂😂😂
I'm not capable of keeping track of my lies. I guess that's why I suck at social deduction. 😂😂😂 But I like word games.
More traveling? How much PTO does Naveen bank up? 😂
I'm with Naveen on word games! They are not my cup of tea.
🙂👍
