- Hello all and welcome back to another Halo 3 mod showcase! In this video, we continue our look at the Banished Campaign mod, this time on a modified version of The Ark. This is Halo 3 - Banished, created by GLaDOSkiller69!

As previously explained in the other videos, this mod offers a perspective switch on the traditional Halo 3 campaign. Instead of playing as the Master Chief, you play as Craig the Brute among the ranks of The Banished as he fights under then-Sergeant Escharum and an Elite companion. As a Banished soldier, you fight alongside other races such as grunts and brutes. This means you are also an enemy of both the Human-Elite allies AND any Covenant splinter factions. Now that your fighting against the allies, expect to see some heavier firepower and bigger muscle such as the Elite Zealot.
Some of the features this mod has to offer are:
- New weapons
- Alien allies
- Human/Elite hostiles
- New enemy variants
- New Banished themed vehicles
- Drivable scarab
- More AI battles
- Hammer Mode
I must say, driving a Banished Anti Air Scarab was a ton of fun to use! Also substituting the Dawn for a Capital ship (although a little cheesy) was very cool to see! The Ark is another fine addition to the Banished campaign, and I can't wait to see what GLaDOSkiller69! has in store for us next!

The AA wraith against a phantom makes me question its usage as anti air
AA doesn't stand for Anti Air, it stands for Anti Anything.
Just imagine what all halos would be like being the enimies that is so epic
I had more goosebumps seeing a CCS battlecruiser descending than when I saw Forward Unto Dawn
That was ten times more badass than the forward unto dawn entrance. Gave me chills
given how small that ship is it's a CRS class frigate badass non the less :D

Absolutely love the uploads and continuation of this campaign. I came in fairly late, but was there a level that featured Banished Hunters? Or a cameo from Colony? On a side note, hopefully MCC gives us more weapon and vehicle skins in Halo 3, definitely need to add a Schism skin for the Wraith and Brutal skins for the Prowlers and Choppers.

Would be cool to see a Halo game set during Halo 2 or something where you play as the Covenant entirely fighting against Humans

Is the AA Wraith something the mod's done? I seem to remember reading somewhere that in game, they're just for show and don't actually work?
Yeah the mod makes AA Wraith's drivable (although they are also drivable in Halo 3 Custom Games as well now in MCC by default).
@@xXBarthXx Well to be fair they were drivable if you did the trick to take control of it in the mission the covenant.
You know where you open the drivers door and kill the brute and instantly take control of it.
I wonder if mcc Xbox will ever get mod support so we could play this on Xbox

There's a way you can download you just need search barth's name on MCC go to his files share and download the mod. So I think if you can give your name on MCC people will be able to download the mod easily
Yeah that's not how it works lol. You need to download the files onto your PC and replace existing MCC files.

Playing as brutes? Cool. Fighting enemy marines, hogs, and tanks? Pretty friggin neat. Taking control of a scarab and using it to tear straight through the enemy lines until going head to head with another enemy controlled scarab? *HELL.* *TO.* *THE.* *YES.* That NEEDS to be a thing we're able to do in Infinite. I'm a worthless console pleb so I can't play this mod but I'd rate this 100/10 just for that scarab section alone.
They should of made it a covident campaign mod not a banished mod it just makes more sense it’s still really well done though

Was this when the official mod tools came out it would be better trying to edit the gondolas for the weaponized vechiels
It actually kind of pains me that you don’t aim at the two weak spots on the front of phantoms
