As a newly retired French teacher who just got back from 3 weeks in Paris, your vlogs have been so wonderful to watch because I am missing Paris soooooo much! I love your videos. You're so brave for doing this on your own. I just love it. I was in Paris for 6 days in 2001 and had to use a paper map to get around back then. 6 days was not nearly enough to see everything so you are doing it the right way. Make sure to get a chocolate crepe from the vendors on the street cause they are amazing !!!

I’m a lot older than you but when I was a kid, toilet paper came in different colors…pink, blue, green. It was really pretty when yards were rolled in colors 😂😂😂😂
I’m not sure why they stopped selling colored toilet paper in the US.
Dyes might be harmful to health.

Hey Taylor, I luv your videos! Thanks for that! Question for u: were you concern about the idiom when thinking about living for an entire month in Paris? Were they ok talking in english? And finally, what tips you would give to someone that is thinking about doing the same in a near future? I.e.: using euros vs dollars, where to live etc

Oh Taylor be careful, I think you should buy a tote bag and put clothes as your carry on instead (or stuff a pillow case full of clothes and make your own travel pillow that way). Because “carry on” has liquid restrictions and rules. That advent calendar contains liquids (I’m assuming) and all liquids have to be visible in a clear bag through airport security. I’d hate for it to get opened and ruined just for the sake of airport security. 😢

In Canada back in the 70s and earlier, we had decorative colours and patterns on our toilet paper that one could match to their bathroom. They stopped making them with the colours as the dyes used in making them were supposed to be toxic in use with our sensitive, private areas. So we switched to plain, dye-free white!
Though I believe the white colour of toilet paper is due to bleaching!

You can buy Angelina's hot chocolate to take away.... As I'm 30 years older than you - the place I notice that has aged most is the back of my hands and forearms - so there is my advice on places to look after. Off to look at that Dior advent calendar...
