Yes I forgot an important Essence node in all of the trees, Yes it is updated to be correct in the links. I just got done with a really tough run before recording this and my brain isn't at 100%
Thank you for the great template. Just one thing I am thinking about. In the last bossing tree you located some end game content map nodes and the "none-favourite map convert to currency" node. How is that work exactly? Is there any possibility it will convert some of my, let's say Drox map drop to currency?
As an uber casual player, I just spec'ed to have just the game modes I like and my endgame experience has been the most entertaining ever. I don't care about all the true end game experience (yet) but this video guide will be helpful in the future if I ever feel the need to play the true end game of this game. Thanks for sharing :)
Divine orbs will be more pricey next league. Due to that, and since hiest is a great way of farming divine orbs with its trinkets, I suggest heist. Other than heist, expidition, delirium, and ritual I feel are all the calmest passive currency generators. Atleast those are my favorites, along with map missions from Jun(great exp and chance at big payout). Metamorph is great for big juiced payout, but is too rippy. Honorable mention would be grove with its new hideout adjustment. Other than that, eater of the world maps are straightforward, and enjoyable, and you can't go wrong with any of the farming strats above mixed in with lock boxes & essences.
Great guide man. I personally switch the essence nodes to harby nodes for midgame, but everything else stays the same. Absolutely LOVELY that GG added 'cannot contain content X', it always felt bad ignoring them on purpose, but now we don't have to anymore!
I'm planning to use Shadow Shaping on SSF early for Atlas completion. How I understand it it prevents my favoured maps from being rolled, but doesn't prevent the map drop itself. So early on I will add all maps I have already completed and increase my chances to get a map I haven't completed yet. In addition I can get implicits as a bonus.
Good plan that i think i will try as well.. I need to farm a Ashes of the Stars in SSF and since it is an uber drop, what do u think would be good enough to do that as a ssf league starter? Im thinking EA totems but ive never played it myself.
@@tmnumber1 I started loving RF Inquisitor in Delirium Everywhere. In Archnemesis I played it again and learned a lot more about it, so in Sentinel I will play RF Inquisitor again (this time with Firetrap) to optimize it till the end. Not sure if it's a good build for doing the Uber bosses on SSF, but I just hate dying ;). I also plan to farm Ashes of the Stars, but as far as I know it is not locked behind the Uber version - it should still be attainable from the standard Eater of Worlds, although I don't know how hard they nerfed the drop chance in 3.18
I'm accidentally sustaining logbooks or blights right now abusing sentinels. I either get 2 blight maps per map, or 1-3 logbooks per map. I am using the rare corrupted notable on the passive tree to give me free scarabs and fragments for 1 vaal orb + 1 alchemy or binding orb. You only buy from Tujen until level 90, this will give you as much raw currency as you need to do anything. I spec'd into chance for kirac missions for map sustain, then spec'd the rest into blight (extractor + jewellery annoints to generate gold oils). Stacking Red + Blue (quantity, rarity, chance to drop x) and then using them towards the end of a juiced expedition has dropped about 5 raw ex's for me so far. Idk if it's bugged, but it seems like it stacks with the expedition + rarity to runic monsters. It's honestly printing currency with Tujen sustaining raw vaal orbs for red maps. This does make the expeditions a LOT more dangerous (impossible if you grab more than 1 immunity for most builds). I still think the rares have way too many damage mitigation effects, but it is very, very, very profitable. If anyone wants the sentinel build: Rush Red(stalker) straight down. Red needs the currency drop on the bottom. Enable blue (you are not specing into blue at all) Spec into sustain (Sentinels always magic > chance to duplicate sentinel > effect duration > empower effect) You full spec into Expedition, once you hit atleast one 300% rarity node you pop red after you clear the first explosion (usually by the sound of the 2nd or 3rd explosion). Once everything is summoned, you pop blue on the final mob pack. Overall, not bad, generating about 2-4 ex/hr solo.
Has there actually been word of Ashes and or Omni being put behind the uber versions? I haven't seen anything saying that and as a SSF player that worries me a smidge.
They said the uber bosses get extra loot, but nothing about changing the loot tables of the base versions of any of the bosses. At least that's what I gathered from Chris' talks
I want to try expedition farming this league as I missed that league & hadn't really tried it before. Anyone know what kind of builds excel at farming them? Doesn't need to be a league starter.
How do you sustain scarabs to justify dropping SoC? Also how do you sustain Orbs of Unmaking to be able to possibly transition between these trees? When I finished my Atlas completion I had around 20 Unmakings (about half raw, half in Regrets). I play in SSF.
I used Harbinger Notes for the first month of the League, every point was an absolut waste. The currency i got from it was a joke, like 3-5 Ex shards in about 500 red Maps. I got like maybe 2 c more from each map i did and had dont know like 20 points in harbinger notes?
im casuall,im gonna play one build whole league, and i love delve, abyss, meta and expedition...so can i just chose those on atlas tree and chill, not worry about changing them all time ?
I think Harbinger is a waste of time without it being on the map device. Unless you only use the lone free harbinger that the tree gives, does the points worth it?
I am leaning towards either high % deli farming for unique clusters or doing Essence/Expedition/Harvest tree. Depending on deli orb prices and how much currency I make quickly. Being able to almost force Expedition and harvest while doing Essence on the map device early before switching to harvest on the map device once u have a lot of bases and other things to work with is going to be very powerful and profitable. Expedition is always profitably so I’m just gonna have to see how the deli orb economy looks day 1 and decide.
The biggest piece of advice I can give is this: Find the stuff you like by going through a few maps and seeing the different little mini events in them (beyond, ritual, etc.) And then write down in the atlas search tab the name of the event. So if you like ritual, just type ritual in the search bar and start reading the tooltips. For me, I love heist, so I'm just rushing kirac for general completion like most are, and then I'm moving into heist next. Finally, I'm moving into delve last because I love delve but it has a lot of nodes unlike kirac and heist. This was not someone else's suggestion, but mine based off of a few hours of just stumbling around the end game and seeing what I think is cool. Once you find what you think is cool, just play that. And finally, everything is profitable. Everything. Even metamorph is profitable.
Are these all good for SSF? I am planning to go EA Ballistas Champion, first time trying the build so not sure wich mechanic is better, i believe essences is ok but expedition for mid league i am not sure? since goal isnt making profit in SSF but finding the best mechanic to get yourself better gear?
Depends on what gear you need, if you require at the start progressing atlas is the best cause youll get more points for the tree but after it depends on what you need, do you mainly need crafted gear then harvest, do you need specific uniques, do you need just raw currency, or maybe clusters so you spec in deli. I imagine mostly focus on mecanics that help you craft but I dont play ssf.
I Probably go for. Map sustain --> Essence --> Harbinger then i will see what content i can run with my build. Going for RF Inquisitor so maybe going for some boss nodes later on. I think last league the strongbox nodes were also not to bad. Never did the real endgame content so it was best choice for me. Maybe i will be able to get to the endgame bosses this time then i will change things
And conqueror maps I believe. So the way I understand you could farm say cemetery Conq map with Altars and an Elder scarab for example giving u an extremely juiced map with all the Atlas passive nodes.
You wouldn't have a chance at any of the implicit mods though since you only get +1% chance at an implicit when maps are in a favored slot. I guess you could build but you also would be blocking out those maps you put in a favored slot so sustain might be really hard doing this early.
Disabling old league mechanics is such a good change. I never got into most of those mechanics and I don't care to learn them, so I will gladly turn them all off and keep them off.
Want to do map farming? Click map nodes. Want to do a certain content farm(expedition, breach, etc)? Click those nodes. Want to do bossing? Click on boss nodes.
In 3.19 they should add an invert option that swaps the nodes on the tree to the other side minus the boss nodes. I prefer farming Exarch but also would like to allocate some expedition nodes without having to waste points traveling.
