MOOER 005 BROWN SOUND Preamp | EVH 5150 III in A tiny box!

In this video I am demoing the sound of this tiny Preamp pedal.
For cab section I am using the Radar cab simulator (with the Carvin Legacy IR).
So this is my tone for live gigs.
I’ve been using this 005 Preamp for the past 3 years. And with the Radar, I can have consistent live sound for every gig.
The 005 does have a built in cab sim, which sounds just OK to my ears.

Great playing. I love these micro Preamps. I also have the 002 JCM 900 and the 011 Dual Rectifier, but the 005 is the best one out of them!

Did this demo have an overdrive/boost pedal in front? Or just the 005 and the Radar?

Just got my son a dual cali for b day and though it sounds pretty good I'm going to encourage him not to stomp on it with his foot as the knobs are really flimsy and will be damaged if you catch them with your foot too often.

Its called Mooer Candy footswitch topper, it goes on top of the switch and it "Increases the diameter of foot switches for easier accessibility."

It's not silent, you would want to use a noise gate. I have several of those mooer pedals and even with EMG pickups they're still noisy without a gate.

mooer. Ive never tried the demon fx but I have the actual Friedman Be-OD and for metal the mooer is better. Ive seen vidoes on the demon and its not as good as the Friedman
